Please advise us on how to fix our HP Z800 workstation problem. After an hour of use it always turns to blue screen, then an error message of "can't detect Hard Disk" What we will do is just to restart the unit to be able to detect the Hard Disk. What could be the problem?

Hello friends,
I am using HP – Pavilion Slimline Desktop – 4GB with Windows 8.1 (64 bit) operating system in it. It was working fine so far.
From today it started getting strange issue. When I start my computer and open few applications (not many) all of sudden it is showing a message to close all programs to shut down the system. When I close all programs it is being shut down immediately. If I restart the system it will again show the same message.
What is the issue with my PC? In summer here the room gets heated and the Air Condition is not working. Is this a problem? How can I rectify this issue? Please advise. Kind regards!

Hi All,
I am using Acer Veriton X4620 Desktop Computer with Windows 7 Professional pre installed. It was working fine until last month.
But, from this month onwards I am facing different issues. After booting it, for some time it works but suddenly it will shutdown and turns back on but the bios screen will not be shown. I thought this was a problem with the mother board (Asrock Killer Z97 OC) and changed it. It worked for a few months and again the same problem. All fans are shut off and then the system also goes down. I have replaced with a new power supply but no use.
What could be the reason? Is there any way to resolve this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I am trying to salvage the hard drive from my Xbox and connect it to a PC, but it is not being detected at all. Is there a way I can make my computer detect it? Is the hard drive locked which could have prevented it from being detected? What are some steps I can do to make it work?

I got a desktop running on Red Hat Linux and so far it's running fine except for the audio. The rear audio port of the system works fine, there is sound but if I use the front audio port, there is no audio. I am thinking of using Alsamixer, but I am not certain if this is indeed the solution. If I use Ubuntu Solutions, will it work on red Hat?

What thermal compound should I use if I attach a 290 to an EK FC290x full cover block? I applied CLU to the CPU and I still have a syringe left. Could I apply it to the GPU block or should I use the recommended Gelid Extreme instead? Thanks for the help in advance.

Every time I play a game like Red Orchestra 2 etc. on my computer, it crashes. The screen turns black and it locks up completely. Pressing ctrl+alt+del does not work so I have to restart. My NVIDIA driver has been updated but still it didn't work. I noticed that when it crashes, the fan spins in full blast. Could someone tell me what might be the problem? Is my graphics card broken?
