Last night I tried to moved a Physical Machine into a Virtual without success. The source is SCSI U320 HD an IBM x206 with 2 x 74 GB D in Raid1, partitioned into two (2) with drive C: and D: and those disk are dynamic.

The way I usually change Phy to Virt is by creating an Acronis Image of the server and this was done correctly and without mistakes and in order to bring it into ESXI server I use the Vmware Standalone Convertor at the same time we re-size the HDD partitions and also make C: and D: Then I went to import the Acronis Image into the ESXI server last night these alternatives where not available to me.

I owned a Dell Latitude 2.0 ghz, 3GB memory, Core duo, 300GB HD that turn out to be very slow and I am going to make fresh install of windows.
Should I buy Windows 7 or will this resource tough for this PC?  
Or  will I reinstall Vista that came with the PC?

My son would like to modify his computer to look different and based on a computer game he's played and still plays.

My only question is, Will this affect the life of the computer because it needs to last him till at least college?

He said wasn't going to be doing much wiring, but I thought I better ask the experts before saying yes.

My computer is having a problem for some time now. I have to click the mouse so many times before there is a response. I don’t know if the problem is caused by the mouse. I am thinking that the computer itself has a problem. Maybe its Operating System has developed a problem. Maybe there is a virus infection or the problem is caused by a program that I installed. What can you advise me please?

I am interested to learn about Magic Micro Computers. I am considering assembling a computer and I’m in the process of researching for the ideal computer and for the places where I could find and buy it.
For the computer I will be assembling, I need to have applications relevant to engineering such as AutoCAD, MathCAD, and OrCAD.
As such, I want to build a computer that is personal but can perform optimum calculations. I don’t need much of high-definition graphics since I’m not into gaming anyway.
I was considering AMD 64 but I’m looking for other options.
I hope you can give me suggestions on what to buy and where.
I would appreciate your ideas.

Please help me with my problem. My computer is running on Windows 7 and two weeks ago, I had this white box with strange characters displayed on my desktop.

When I checked my Task Manager, I could not see anything that is related to it. I even stopped all the processes but the white box remained. I also tried rebooting but it didn’t work either.

I am not sure if it’s a virus since I have Norton and Windows Defender installed. If it were some kind of a virus, my system should have informed right away but it didn’t.

Please help me with my problem.  My computer has been running really slow and I don’t know what could be causing it. When I checked the Task Manager, it indicated that my CPU usage is 100% but when I looked at the Processes, the CPU usage drops to 0 and then shoots up again to 99%.

I think this is what’s causing my computer problem and I really need to know how I can solve it.

I need the entire driver for all computer models. Just compress the files then save it as one file such as rar or cab file, as opposed to having to download drivers for a computer in isolation for each device. Does anyone know a site that provides those services? If there is no website available, just send an individual file with manufacturers supplying the driver packs for IT techs. Only Dell has the entire consumer support driver downloads websites that has them and they started providing driver packs that helped OS deployment. Websites like www.driverguide.com have been mentioned but these are usually out-of-date and also individual.

Frequent shutdowns, I7-950, where to start?
I have an Apple DX58S0 and i7-950, NOT overclocked, created about 18 several weeks ago and has been firm.
The last two shoes after it was off and freezing it has totally reset itself every few moments. It operates for a while (increasingly extended each time), then reboots.
There are no components issues in the bios, there are no function log items of desire (other than the "was unexpected"), there are no obvious symptoms and symptoms on the display, and no beeps or uncommon tones. I ran the CPUID Hardware check once and as it totally reset conditions were great and standard (mid Fifties c). It is basically as though the totally reset switch was hit.
