For the last 3 days a popup is appearing on my screen, which says “A network cable is unplugged”.

I am surprised to see this message, as I only use the wireless for my internet. I have checked all the measures, provided in different websites, BUT all of them point to a network card.  Surprisingly I do not have a network card installed on the system. I use win XP Service pack 3.

Is it due to some virus or my windows gotten corrupted? I will welcome any solution, which do not advise me the new installation of Win XP.

Thanks

I just bought a new hardware with a new version of the Realtek onboard audio system. My problem is that, I don't have quadrophonic sound when using my headphones. I played a lot of FPS (First Person Shooter) games with good quality like blackops, bf3, q3live and many more, and not hearing any sound is a total disadvantage for me. This used to work before when using my old Asus P5KC Mobo but now I don't know what to do or what to change in my settings to make this work. I plugged the headphones on the green hole on my laptop. I took a screenshots of the problem I am having right now.

Please note that I cannot hear the sound on the red circle.

I'm planning on upgrading my system's memory (RAM). I currently have 2GB of RAM in a single stick in it. I'm having problems with deciding whether to buy a 4GB module and have 6GB of memory but no dual channel advantages or to buy another 2GB module and have 4GB in dual channel. Which is better?

Hello!

I'm just wondering if I can use my desktop 24 hours a day without shutting down? I have an online job which requires me to use my computer almost 24 hours a day 5 days a week.

Is there any risk if I use it 14 to 24 hours a day? If yes, please let me know what are those risk. I'm just afraid that my computer won't work anymore if I use it almost 24 hours a day. I'll be waiting for your comments/solutions. Thanks.

Hi experts!

I have a question regarding Computer Bits. What it is and what are its functions? The only thing I know is that since it stands for Binary Digit, it is compose of 0 and 1 since it is the smallest digit. How can you classify the number of Bits in one computer? Can you tell me more about it?

Thank you.
