I need help.

All my files is missing including old pictures important documents and other movie series. The folder listed says 0 files and 0 bytes. Though they were all in there the day before and i know i didn't do anything wrong.

It's weird that i lost all files. I do safely removed every time i finish using it.

I just don't know what happened.

Please help.

What do i need to do?

I recently did a stupid thing… I unplugged my 2TB drive while it was being scanned.  I tried to recover the files using recuva but it says that every file is missing.  They also had a green dot so that means it should be simple to restore them right?  I hit restore, which it does successfully for 15 mins then it says the rest of the files couldn´t be retrieved saying “the system cannot find the file specified”.  I really need this data please tell me how I can get it back and how I can solve this problem.

I need some help with my husband’s laptop. He is unable to boot up his computer as he is receiving the message "This computer system, #XXXXXXXXX is protected by a password authentication system. You cannot access the data on this computer without the correct password". My husband has typed in his password and every variation but nothing works. Can I use my laptop to create a recovery disk for my husband’s computer? Alternatively, is it better to use his laptop’s system recovery disk and start from scratch? Any advice is most appreciated.
