I have a little problem with LG FLATRON w1942s, I opened this morning and it started to close and open by itself, without pushing the close button (the button remains lit). What can be wrong? I checked the cables and they are OK (I connected another monitor to your PC and works with them).

Just yesterday morning everything was fine about my monitor, I even played games for a while and nothing seems wrong.

However, when I boot up the PC and turned on the monitor, multi-colored vertical lines (like the ones on the picture below) appeared.

Can you tell me the possible causes of these vertical lines?

My brother is always flipping the screen after he used the computer and it is really annoying.

When I asked him how to undo it he wouldn't tell me.

My remedy is I would always switch off the computer which will take time to load compared if you will just switch user.

How can I fix a flipped screen using computer hot keys?

I have an issue my Samsung Sync master 720N. At a random time, the screen turns black for a few seconds as if its settings were reset and then the brightness menu appears and auto adjusts itself.

It's very annoying as I can't enjoy a movie or play a game without having this problem. I have looked around and on some websites I've seen the fact that it is an issue from the manufacturer. I have given it some thought and I find it impossible for the simple reason that it worked so well for over 4 years. I took care of it and it never suffered any accident. Is it really the time for me to acquire a new monitor ?

I don't get the normal color back on my computer screen problem only occurs in Windows but does not occur in the System Setup program. Why is this so? What is the best thing I can try first? Please help. here is the snapshot:

When I press power button on my pc, my CPU started but my monitor did not response. It takes 1-2 min to show display. When I want to boot my pc, I cannot see the first screen. So it’s very difficult to me to boot my pc.

So can you give me a suggestion what is actually my problem?

I have been facing a video card or display problem with my computer. So, I decided to change settings from BIOS therefore I changed my display to read PCI . Because, I had only modem in PCI slot. But it was AGP. Than, I over clocked my computer in BIOS. The afterward changes really messed up my computer. Now the computer does not turn on at all. But fan and the heat processor are still running. Looking for solution.
