Hi all, I have got an issue in the search bar present next to the address bar in Mozilla Firefox. I have always appreciated the search bar and was using it all the time. Recently i faced an issue that whatever I type in the search bar and hit enter, the Google results will not open. Instead an empty Google page will open. Why will this happen? How to rectify this? I do not want to switch to any other search engines other than Google. Is this because of a corrupted search engine? How to resolve this issue? Thanks

I am using internet to download several files in computer running on Windows 7. Now, I have a requirement to jeep an eys on the size of the file being downloaded. I have experience in using three browsers namely Mozilla Firefox, internet explorer and Chrome. I an ll the three browsers there is no support to detect and control the files being downloaded. I simply want to set the criteria such as if the file size is more than 300 MB the file should not be downloaded automatically. How to perform this check? Are there any other browsers which help me in this case?

I have an interesting requirement for a new software. My parents have access to a computer through which they browse YouTube sang use Skype for video calling. They rarely use other applications. I am curious in knowing whether there is an application already available for the security of the PC when the user itself is naive in computer usage. My parents do not understand and they just click on still images which look like Skype or YouTube. My request for you is to suggest the best possible secure mode on which a user can operate upon so that even is user wants to affect PC it will be impossible

All my browsers and computers were secure until last week. Recently my laptop was used by my cousin to watch live cricket in YouTube for couple of days. Now, all of a sudden, everything has changed. Whatever i search in Google automatically goes to some weird search engine and i see only advertisements related to the keyword. I tried to remove all add ons but this is not helping. Is it safe to restore for a earlier point or is there any way to reset browsers so that browsers will restore original behaviour. All antivirus checks says nothing. Please help.

I would like to ask few questions about Mozilla Firefox I just recently switched from Chrome to FireFox. I tried to visit some websites and every time I visit a site with graphics or videos it keeps on saying massing plugins. This is the latest version of FireFox. What could be causing this problem? Can you tell me how to resolve this issue? Can you give me alternative ways on how to permanently eradicate this problem? Please provide help.

I am currently using google chrome but recently with the upgrade bringing the new profiles feature, I have started to lose interest in it. Also, I have been using chrome with Windows 8 and it has been crashing repeatedly. I heard that Firefox has significantly improved in terms of performance. Is that true? Can I get a cross comparison, please?

I'm setting up Firefox Sync but I do not want to sync bookmarks.  I use my tablet for certain things and my laptops for others.  Do you still recommend I set up Sync or should I just avoid doing so?  Would it be a greater hassle to set it up?  Thank you.

Hello, I am trying to get Firefox Sync set up on all my devices so I can use them all the same.  However, I am not seeing the same information on everything and cannot get Sync to set up.  I believe I have the latest editions of Sync on all my devices.  Any troubleshooting tips are appreciated.
