Last week I was called up twice by some unknown person who was claiming to be from the Windows service centre. He was saying that my computer was hacked and he wanted details to fix the issues. I inquired about him but he didnt tell any details about himself. Is this some kind of a scam call? Shold I report such a call? To whom or on which site can I report such scams?

I connected my Buffalo 500GB external HDD with my PC with Windows XP, in order to take a backup, but when I connected it to my PC, it automatically created a virtual drive on my PC. How can I remove or delete Buffalo Virtual CD ROM that came with my External Hard Drive ? My Hard drive model is HD-PXT1TU2 (Buffalo Inc.). Please guide.

Recently I uninstalled Gear Pro Professional Edition from my Windows XP system, but some files & components of the program are still left in the system. I have done the uninstalling using the build-in Uninstaller, Please guide me how to remove those supporting files completely, apart from removing it manually.

I am using Checkpoint Tools for accounting, and tax resources that works with standard MS Word and Excel on my Windows 7. Now I need to uninstall the tool, Will Uninstall a Program from inside the Control Panel, completely remove Check Point, Including the supporting files.
