I'm thinking of using Copy Commander 9 to transfer all files and data from my HDD to an external HDD for back-up.  Does it copy even the partition without losing data and preferences?  I have a 500GB Hitachi internal HDD and 1 TB Seagate external HDD.  Thanks.

I have a USB drive of 300 GB. When I connect a USB drive to my computer, then windows dialog box prompts me that, the drive is not formatted. Using a diagnostic tool I found out MBR of my external hard disk is corrupted. The data still present in my drive.

Is there any way out to fix this issue? Please suggest me what to do for the restores USB boot record.

It shows some error and lock sign on it.

I am also unable to right click on it. I am in great tension because very important data are locked and its very urgent accesses the data.

Because Windows XP doesn’t detect the hard drive for installation. While in BIOS my hard drive is shown connected. Please tell me how to resolve the problem, can I install on SATA or not?
