Hard Drives
Hi all!
I had recently bought a new Windows 7 operating system and installed it. The computer was working fine before the crash. What could have happened and what can I do to solve the problem?

I am having a strange problem. I have two hard drives with 80 GB each. Drive 1 has a 10 GB windows partition while drive 2 is divided into two 40 GB partitions. Whenever I try to copy any data, the computer restarts and windows is no longer there. Sometimes the partition will also get wiped. First I thought this might be due hard drive so I changed the hard drive.
But nothing happened so I changed my motherboard and it worked. Nothing happened for a few months. Then last week, as I turned on my computer, my 2nd The hard drive was completely blank. I formatted it and tried to boot up but it failed as windows were absent. Any help ?

I have the following drives/partitions on my system.
C: System where windows is,
D: Drive where I place my movies and song collections,
F: Install and download drive,
C: Was running low on space so I decided to give it some extra space from F: After this, I went to partition magic 8 and allocated extra 600MB space for C: from, just to keep windows run properly.
I pressed apply and it restarted but didn’t do anything in reboot. I turned off my pc and when it restarted, my F drive was lost.
I am totally clueless on what has happened. Any help please?

I already have one 40 GB hard disk drive but it is not enough for me because I like to watch movies and download them.. Now, I bought one more hard disk of 300 GB, but I found that there is no connector left for it.
Each cable is connected to DVD-ROM, Hard Disk Drive, Super Drive. Please give me solutions to attach my second hard disk drive while also using first hard disk drive. Is there any possibility?

I'm using 2 IDE Hard Drives at the same time. One of them is primary, while the other is a slave.
For the past 2 weeks, I'm always receiving an Error message ,
Hard Drive Failure: The System has detected a problem with one or more installed IDE/Sata hard drives.
It is recommended that you restart your system.
As soon as I hit Ok, my system restarts.
I'm using Windows XP. I need your help in fixing this issue.
Thanks
Michael

I purchased a New Seagate Maxtor 320GB Hard Drive about a month ago.
For the past couple of weeks, Strange Crackling Sound is coming from the Hard Drive. Nothing is wrong, my hard drive is working fine, but I am scared. Is it harmful for my hard disk?

I have lot of Hard Drive Space almost 60GB is free space in my computer but when I try to open QuickBooks then I receive this error. Please tell me why I receive this error. And how can I remove this error. All detail of error is given below for your understanding.
Your hard disk does not have enough space.
100 bytes are required to download the update. To free up space, remove files from your hard disk, then choose QuickBooks > Check for QuickBooks updates.

Hi everyone,
I have 2 drive partitions. I keep my drive D as a backup drive. I don’t open it that much, but I noticed these folders when I checked on it
I attached a screenshot. Any ideas what they are for?
I haven’t done anything about it yet. I’m a bit worried that it is a virus, but I already scanned the entire drive, and it was clean.
Thanks in advance!
