In my hard drive, 1 (T). I put together a hard disk just for a collection of games and movies. 2 partitions which include 1 movie (E) 1 game (F) Just now, I wanted to make it to the disk management partition

But it suddenly turns into an error, with partition (E). How do I restore the partition? I do not want it formatted because of my collection. Thank you for the ones who want to help me.

How does the hard disk get affected, when the data is being written and the laptop goes to sleep (by closing lid)? Will it simply stop the process or will it result in damaging the hard drive(bad sector or any similar problem?

How often should you defrag your hard disk drive? I have this software called, Advanced System Care. This software notifies me if my computer is running slow. One of its solution is de-fragmenting my hard drive in order to optimize the PC speed.

Now, It seems like everyday the software notifies me that my computer is running slow. So, I let my HD defrag everyday. Is this safe?

My pen drive has a problem which is, it disables data writing on my pen drive. These are the types of problems that I can’t understand. What is the problem of My Computer or my USB pen drive.

Now I need a solution for this problem.

My USB hard drive has a Delayed Write failed error. This is another kind of error which is more common with USB hard drives due to some error in the File allocation table.

My USB drive is detected, but is not shown in My Computer. This problem can also be seen in cases of conflict over drive letter's task by Windows. The drive can be detected but without a valid drive letter assigned to it.

When I try to remove the pen drive via the safely remove hardware option, it gives me an error which shows: “Generic volume cannot be stopped right now”. I'm afraid my pen drive might be damaged if it would be removed without properly stopping the Generic volume.
