Hi,
I have been having a problem with my Dell Optiplex 360 DVD drives. Whenever I insert a DVD it plays fine but it always fails to read any CD. I know it is not a problem with the CD's as they work fine on my laptop. I have even tried XP recovery CD's and these don't work either. The CD's just don't get recognized. Please help me solve this.

Hello,
I am using 1 TB (Tera Byte) Maxtor Hard drive. Suppose I don’t know the size of my hard drive. I tried it to find out about Computer Properties but I couldn't. How can I know the size of my hard disk without adding each driver space, or how can I know the total size of hard disk in a simple way?

We had this issue yesterday. We are using this USB for our office files. When I got home and try to use it on my own PC, it was unable to read USB thumb drive.
I was wondering what the problem is because we were still able to use it in our PC.
What could have happened?

Hi guys,
A few days back my pc started freezing on the opening of even a very lite software. It just become jam for a certain time and then start working. I thought that it is the fault of my OS (Windows XP) so I decided to reinstall my windows. So when I booted the pc and after prompting of OS where to install and which drive to format I chosen C drive.

Recently I accidentally tried to connect a hard disk on my PC without switching it off. The hard disk started making a huge noise and I plugged it off so that I could save my PC without any damage. Then I tried to connect another hard disk on the same port on which previous hard disk was connected but it is not detected by my PC. I know the hard disk is fine as I have connected it to another PC and it connected without any problem.
I changed my IDE cable (it is 40 pins) but it still does not detect my hard. Please explain my problem whether I have to change my cable or the port has crashed completely. Please provide me with a solution most probably without spending a lot of the budget on motherboards and on those ide/sata cards.

Hi,
I’m not very good with computer and maybe its very silly to ask. I’m using a USB dongle to access internet. I permanently fixed it with USB port and set it up for auto connect when my PC will start, but it seems like its not connecting and every time its scanning for modem and signal. But when I unplug the dongle and reconnect then its connecting perfectly.
Is there any suggestion to solve this for auto connects?
