what is the difference between Cisco routers and others?

Can we trust this Cisco routers and for better transmission can we use switch,routers or hubs?

What is the fastest of these devices because i want my online network to be more fast

I have this problem for a while now. I was playing on my computer when it suddenly froze. I thought that I should restart it. I held the button pressed for about 1 minute and then it turned off. I decided to turn it back on but it refused. I opened my notebook and start searching for a solution and after half an hour I tried turning it on again.It worked. I thought that might be due to some Trojans or strange virus so I rebooted and started a new windows installation. While it was copying files (not installing, but copying files from the CD – BIOS part) it froze again and my installation was compromised. I then tried to put it back on without success.

This Trednet router seems to give me hard times. I thought it would be easy to connect 2 computers (laptop + desktop) to the internet through this router but it seems I was dearly wrong. After I have configured the router everything went fine. I have also updated the firmware as I read that it might affect incoming traffic. Both computers got connected. I then started downloading. Here was the catch. Whenever the download speed passed 2.1 mb/s the connection dropped (no matter on which of the computers I was trying to download). I have tried this a few times and each and every time my download speed overpassed 2.1 mb/s the connection dropped. Do you guys have any suggestion to my problem ?

Here’s the problem:

This morning I fooled around in Windows and when I’ve rebooted my computer no service was available. (Remote Access Connection Manager) and thus I couldn’t connect to the internet. After a while I thought of reinstalling the windows.

i am using a desktop pc which was bought 2 years ago. recently my DVD writer started going mad. it mysteriously comes out and stays. when i put a dvd and send it back in, it detects it and runs the dvd. but when nothing is in it, the tray comes out. i was wondering whether it could be a virus. but since it happens even before OS loads i came to a conclusions that its not a virus. so someone please tell me a solution for this problem.

My CD-ROM drive is acting up again. It cannot read some of my CDs whether it's an audio CD or software CD. I'm planning to replace my CD-ROM drive but before I do, how can you determine if a CD-ROM problem is caused by hardware or software? I already checked my device manager and there seem to be no signs indicating that there is really something wrong with it. Below is the actually screenshot of my device manager and hope it will give you a better view of the possible problem:

Please can someone help me. My computer won't detect my dvd rom. I tried my dvd rom with sata connection and ide connection. When I tried the dvd rom with sata connection,there would be no power. I tried all the 4 sata slots including the one which is used by my hard drive.

When I tried the dvd rom with ide connection, there is power but it is not detected by my computer.

Please help..

I procrued an Inland rf 5 button mouse to use for the F4 rotate and F5 view return.  The three programmable buttons work in LT and other Programs, but not working in Inventor 5.3.  When I discussed the same with vendor, he suggested that it might be due to the problem in Inventor. 

Kindly note that I have already installed the latest driver for the mouse and it is working very efficiently for other softwares.

Can any one guide me to resolve this proble?
