Hardware Components
Hello, I am using an old desktop. Performance is ok for official work. Now-a-days I found a problem which is much unknown for me. suddenly this blue screen error appears >>>
STOP 0x000000D1
I can’t work properly for this problem. I have to close my PC when this problem occurs. Recently I added an extra external 2nd hand hard disk in that pc. Now I am thinking that this problem is occurring only for this external hard disk but I am not sure actually. Now I need valuable comments. Advance thanks.

I am in a fix and don’t know what to do with the problem I am facing. And the problem is “NTLDR is missing”.
Every time I start windows it results in the message I posted above. I am left with no choice, either to switch off computer or restart it by pressing “Ctrl + Alt+ Del”. I am new to computer world so don’t know exactly what this error is.
What are its causes and solutions?
So can anyone here help me out?
Error:
NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

This apparently is the result of an automatic Windows update. Tests show an HD driver is now installed that requires an external microphone. My external speakers test ok, but the only sound I get is from my internal laptop speaker. How can I restore to previous state?

I’m just wondering what does 32x, 16x etc. that you can see on the option when burning files in CDs/DVDs? I know that these are drive speeds but what are the differences between these speeds when burning data, mp3 etc. does it affects the files being written? If it does, what are the safe drive speeds when burning into CD/DVD?

I cleaned my computer last week; I remove all the hardware components of it because I want to remove all the dust that it has.
When I re-installed all hardware components of the computer and start powering it on, I hear endless beep sound so I immediately turn off the AVR.
I called my cousin and let him check what the cause of the beep sound. He said that the memory was not properly placed on the memory slot.
He also said that when a computer emits a sound, it tells you that there is something wrong inside the computer. So my only concern is that, what are the different interpretations for these beep sounds?
So I will know what to do if I encounter this again.

Whenever I power on my computer my floppy drive’s light is on even if there is no floppy disk inside it. I haven’t notice it since lately so I am not sure what’s causing this problem. I already checked the cable that connects the floppy drive to the motherboard. I already clean it using a floppy drive disk cleaning kit but the light still stays on.
I really have no idea what’s causing this. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I have a Samsung DVD/CD-ROM drive which I often use for burning mp3’s and backing up my files with DVD-R disc. There are times that I get an error at the end of burning process and the disc will be corrupted and the only thing that you can do is to burn again the files.
I don’t know what’s causing this; I want to learn some troubleshooting regarding this issue and to other issue that may arise concerning ROM drive.

Hello
I was speaking to my ISP helpdesk the other since was having slow connections lately. He asked me to do to a lot of stuff over the phone, ran some speed tests, check browser and firewall settings, I was even asked to callback after running the antivirus/anti spam software.
He then suggested that I should perhaps change my ethernet card since it could be the issue. Now my problem here is I don’t have enough cash to buy a new one right now and I really need my internet to speed up, since I have a deadline to meet for my job. So, what he suggested to me was to try to contact my local tech and ask him to change the ethernet adapter speed.
And so I thought I’d go to you guys for help.
