I used my computer for playing games.
But I want to improve the graphics that I can use for video games that requires higher components.
How can I do that?
What are the system requirements in order to run video games with good graphics?
And please include some explanations on your answers and how does it affect the satisfaction?

I just bought my $1,800 HP laptop with 6G RAM, 2.0 GHZ i7 CPU, and a Radeon (TM) HD 6490M graphics card. But for some reason, when I do a system scan of my computer, all it says is that I am using the integrated HD graphics, and thus my games are hardly running.
When I go into my device manager, under the Display adapters it says that I have the HD 6490 as well as the Radeon HD Graphics. I also tried to go onto the Radeon site and update the drives but it says its not compatible and I need to contact HP to get the mobile versions of the drivers.
Can someone please help me?
I paid $1800 for this laptop so I could run games on it, but I can hardly run anything, including older games.

What are the advantages of having a desktop computer versus a PC Laptop aside from portability?
I am planning to buy a computer to be used at home with functions including document creation, web surfing, downloading of images, audio and video files, and playing of media files.
If I would rarely bring it with me, would you still recommend buying a PC Laptop?

What probably is the most advanced feature of the newly innovated DNA microchips, which will replace the traditional silicon microchips; how efficient and fast is the newly developed 45-nm-thick processor compared to the previous 90-nm and 65-nm processors; and how safe are the water-cooled CPUs from fire (since water is used as their heat conductor)?

I went to a friend's house and used his PC and he has this nice pointer.
He said he will teach me but wasn't able to because he's away for a vacation trip.
So, I hope you can help me with this.
So, will I change my mouse cursor in such a way that the mouse pointer has its trails follow it as it moves?
