Hardware
Recently i have come across a weird discovery, whenever I make a new folder it automatically gets deleted and it moves to the recycle bin.
I thought there must be a virus, but i downloaded a virus guard and scanned my laptop for viruses and i did not come across any virus. What could be wrong?
Thank you for your time and help

I have just recently bought a new 512MB ram card for my dell desktop, and connected it to the memory slot in my motherboard. I did not touch the other memory card which is also 512MB. When I started my computer all I could access is BIOS menu and I notice that only 2 green lights were on, I checked my memory card in Bios setting it was 2 of them are enabled, so to say it is detected by my pc.
I notice that the 4 lights in front of my desktop (1,2,3,4 led lights), only 1 and 3 are green and 2, 4 does not, it was not like that before, 4 lights are mostly lit when I run my pc. What does this mean only 1 and 3 led indicators have a light?

Recently, I upgraded my Acer Aspire 4730z RAM into 2gb but the problem is the screen won't display after the technician put the memory. He took the new memory and put back the old one then the screen worked. So, he tried another new memory and put it on the slot but then again screen won't display. It came to a point when he tried the old one back, the screen won't display anymore. The technician told me my laptop had a hardware problem. Anyone knows what happen to my laptop? Any ideas please?

Can someone tell me if I can do anything to make my DVD Rom to be silent when reading discs?
Almost every time I see a movie, for example, I have to turn the speakers real loud in order to cover the noise.
I have to mention that I own a Sony Vaio VPCEH notebook.
If anyone knows how to solve my problem, please tell me.

I recently bought a used Asus motherboard from one of my friends and installed it into my CPU. After i completed this when i pressed the power button it successfully worked, however when i tried switching the computer on after another hour it did not turn on.
This happens on a very regular basis, sometimes it works where as at other times it does not turn on.
