Hardware
I am using an Acer Aspire X3200 which has a built-in multi-format memory card reader located in the front panel of the CPU. I used to be able to just insert my microSD memory card enclosed in its adapter into the slot for the memory card reader and it would be detected right away but now when I do this, it is no longer being detected by the computer.
I already tried using another microSD memory card, even another adapter but it gives me the same thing. Could this be a possible virus issue? I even suspected that dust could have accumulated in the slot for the memory card reader so I cleaned it using a vacuum cleaner made just for computers but still no change at all.
I would appreciate any help that you can extend.

Hi everyone, I'm in an office environment where I have many of the same workstations/ desktops / keyboard, and mice. Everyone is on W7 x64. I had to re-image one of the workstations yesterday and I can't get the mouse or keyboard to install. In fact, nothing USB wise will install. It's really strange and seems so basic, but I don't have a solution. Please help so I can get this user back on his workstation!

I just recently bought an old flash drive from a surplus shop here in our city. The problem is. Is it a 2.0 or 1.0 version?
I have read that if "Enhanced' was in those two lines inside the red lines then my USB's were 2.0, but I can't use my flash drive cause it says my USB's aren't 2.0

Please I own a Compaq hybrid laptop and the video card in it gives me a lot of problem. It cannot display 3D images properly, I find it hard to use some soft wares as well as playing some games. Some of the soft wares will not even run at all because of my video graphic card.
I have decided to get a external video card, please which one should I go for.

I'm currently using my headset as usual. I frequently use Skype and yahoo messenger to make video calls to my mom over the internet. She's in LA California. Then one day she complained of a buzzing noise over her headset. Just found out that the culprit was my microphone.
But it sounds clear when I passively hear it but when I tried to record it produced that noise. Is it due to my microphone or my soundcard?

I want to transfer a file which is about 9GB from my portable HDD 370GB 300kb/s. But when i tried to transfer something from my computer to a different location it is fine but as soon as i try and copy paste it, it says it is going to take 11 hours at 300KB/s. And just to let you know this has never happened before. And it would normally do it in about 8-11mins. How did this happened? Is it my OS? should i reformat?

Why is it that toshiba laptop with an AMD single core 2.20GHz processor and with a 2GB, 256MB dedicated ATI graphic card is not able to display demanding pics like 3D pics but, another toshiba laptop with a core i3 processor with a 2GB,64MB dedicated intel HD graphic card is able to display better than the other one with laptop.
Is it the processor that make it do better or what?
To add to it all they all have 4GB RAM. what accounts for that?
