I think I'm having confusion with my Motherboard and RAM. Because I get constant crashes. I want to get new RAM.

But I want to make sure it is compatible with my motherboard. How do I find how what kind of motherboard I have?

I am using Windows XP diamond in my computer. After playing any game the icon have changed. Sometime it seems ok when I right clicked on my Desktop and clicked on refresh but sometimes not. How can I solved that problem?

While doing programming does improper memory handling affects the performance of computer? for example if you do not free the allocated memory while doing programming in c/c++.

If it really affects the hardware/ computer performance a big deal then what's the solution? because during practice i do not generally handles memory properly.

My old CRT monitor is giving me a problem these past few days. I decided to replace it with an LCD monitor so I bought a new one from a computer store, I saw the monitor displays a clear text and crisp images but when I got home and setup the LCD monitor I noticed the text and images where not as good as it displays on the store. The texts and images looks fuzzy so I went back to the store and asked to replace it with another one. I set up again this new monitor and the results are still the same. I tried upgrading the driver of my video card hoping that it will do something with the new monitor and yet no luck. Any ideas about this? Thanks in advance!

I have a Silan SC92031 PCI Ethernet Adapter. It was working perfectly on my Windows XP. When I switched to Windows 7 by doing a clean install, my network adapter was not recognized.

I can’t install the driver because the hardware itself is not detected. I’ve searched the internet for hours and found nothing that can help me to solve this problem. If anyone has an idea about this please help me. Thanks.

My LG dvdrom just stops while working. When we are copying some thing or trying to play directly some thing it suddenly stops and my pc also slows down due to this. And after some time its icon disappears from My computer too.

Is it any type of Power failure or what because when it comes to work it performs perfect.

My Asus DVD ROM tray does not come out. It is stuck in and when I slap on it sometimes it comes out.

How can I make it work properly?

My hard drive makes sound like tic tic when i start my computer and sometimes it makes no noise. If there is any solution to reduce it or permanently get rid of that noise, please help me.  Or i should buy a new one?

I am using an Epson FX-1170 printer under Windows XP. It was printing perfectly until recently it skips one line while printing a text document. I’m sure that my printer was not physically damaged. I already reinstalled the driver for the printer and checked the printer settings. Hoping someone will help me to solve this problem. Thanks in advance.

Roland SC-545EX Motor Error 0080 0080

While printing a 2 feet by 3 feet tarpaulin, in the middle of the printing at about 1.5 feet are finished, the printer head of my printer goes back at the home position and never start printing again. The printer displayed an error code on the panel and says Motor Error 0080 00800. What does it mean and how do I fix the error.
