Hardware
Hi there,
Next year I am going to University to study a BA in Photography. I am looking to buy a laptop, and I am set on getting Apple.
As I will be doing quite graphic editing, I need help on what MacBook I should choose.
I would really like the 15″ MacBook Pro. Is the standard 13″ MacBook suitable for what I need it for? Would I be spending an extra £300 or so just for bigger screens?
I would really like some advice, I’m hoping to buy it in December around Christmas and want to start planning on what I need.
Thanks,

Hi, Guys
Will anybody tell me.
What is meant by the "step-rate" of a scanner? How do I tell if my scanner uses dual or triple conversion. What does "SMR" mean in call book lists ? What are birdies ?
I waiting for the valuable response.

Hello,
What is the difference between LCD and plasma TV sets?
Collectively the two technologies are called flat-panel TVs.
Although the two types of TV look pretty similar, there are major differences in how they work.
Liquid crystal display (LCD) TV screens come to life when light shines through the TV screen’s matrix of tiny colored liquid crystal cells.
Thanks,

I was setting up my Wii console to be able to stream NETLIX movies. Basic thing you need to do is set up your WiFi connection for Wii console. Every time I'm trying to set up my WiFi connection for Wii console to connect, I kept getting an error during connection test process. It gave me an error code 51030.
Can anyone please advise on what to do?

For those who have a dedicated server with two hdd, the idea is to put them in a raid via software, but if i use it with XenServer, there is a problem.
Does XenServer support it?
Because I have heard that only hardware can be used…

Hello,
According to one of my friend, a dedicated server with these features can handle hundreds of Joomla sites with low to medium traffic. Is it possible? (Site having a few hundred hits a month, ecommerce and some a bit 'heavier).
CPU AMD X2 4850th (@ 2.5 GHz Dual Core)
RAM 4 GB
Disc 2 x 500 GB
Network Map 100 Mbit Bandwidth 100 Mbit
Miscellaneous Managed Firewall / Format / Reset / Recovery, also connected to 120 Gbit Backbone, 99.9% Uptime.
Obviously it will be configured specifically for Joomla, apache, linux distro, suPHP or similar, etc.. What would be your suggestion?
Thanks,

Hello people,
I always have problems with OpenSUSE, but unfortunately I'm not allowed to take it off the server … My problem is this, I have a site hosted on an OpenSUSE, with a "Guestbook" on the site, which does not use the database, this book records all in one file. "txt".
In debian this book works perfectly, as the message posted on OpenSUSE does not work, I used the same book in two OSes, just copied OpenSUSE for debian and it worked … I permission that I gave to the file was "chmod 666-name file.txt" …

Hi,
Does the PCI bridge device use prefetch for PCI MRM and MRL? Is prefetch a dynamic or static assignment to address regions or pages? Does the bridge device have any priority requester capability, that is, favor a PCI requester or host memory region?

Will it harm my computer if I plug in a CAT5 cable (RJ-45 Jack)into my computer while it is running. If I plug in a one end of a cat5 (RJ-45 Jack)cable into my computer & leave the other end of the cable unplugged, Will the red cross disappear from my network adapters icon (in win2000, winxp or vista).
