Hello,

Since yesterday, my laptop has a problem with the screen. I normal use for example ,word processing or Internet browsing, when suddenly the screen went white. To “reappear"  the screen, I have to move a little screen, tilting a little less. I guess it just a connection problem of the screen.
My laptop is an HP dv5.

Is it serious? Any way to fix the problem?

I have a problem with my laptop. I have an Acer Aspire 4810TG and Windows 7.

The DVD player will not open with or without DVD / CD / DVD-R inside. When the DVD is inside, the computer can not detect very rarely. I find it sometimes possible to open and use the drive to start the computer … And I can not even find the drive in my devices or in the "properties" of my pc. In short, I'm stuck …Please help.

I have a problem with my computer and is very annoying:

The fan is fully Vista SP2 while the CPU is busy with 2% and it's really noisy! I first did a clean bomb dry air with the fan on the graphics card NVIDIA GT220 and the CPU fan. Under Vista, I lightened my computer by doing the cleaning with CCleaner + TuneUpUtilities 2010.

I then performed a disk check and a full defragmentation. I also disabled unnecessary services. But nothing changed.

I need some advice about my friend's Dell Inspiron Laptop not charging. I have a new battery installed and for some reasons at times it appears to charge and at other times it's not charging. At this time the computer is on/plugged in and when I click the battery icon on the bottom task bar icon it states "22% available (plugged in, not charging)". I had the computer shut off, but plugged in and it didn't charge the battery. Any ideas as to where to start looking?

I have a problem which i am not able to even diagnose whether it is  a hardware problem or a software one.

I need to know how to shut down my computer. I hit the shut down icon,

but nothing happens. It is not a virus,

some say it could be Trojan or Invader. I have run all sort of fix-it things, none helped .

Someone please help. It's tiresome to manually shut it down always.
