Hardware
I am using Dell Inspiron15R(N5010) with Intel i3Processor, CentrinoWireless – N 1000 and Intel HD Graphics installed with Windows 7. I am facing the problem since yesterday that whenever I am trying to start my system, it is showing an error – RealtekPCIeFE Family controller Series v1.19(08/10/09) exe-8:E61: Media Test Failure Check Cable. I have 4 GB RAM (2 x 2GB) which I removed and tried to power on but system does not go beyond the error message. I also tried to re-install Windows 7 but getting the same error time and time again. Please suggest.

I am using a Dell laptop with Windows XP installed. I observed that when starting new programs gets started automatically and my screen resolution changes with desktop icons and size.
The screen resolution changes form 1024 x 768 to 640 x 480. Although I can changes those setting but unable to save them and make them stay. This happens every time I boot my system. I have an ATI Rage 128 Ultra Video Card and the also updated Video Drivers.
I believe the Video card driver is working fine. I tried my best in getting screen resolution but unable to save those settings. I have no clue and if someone can suggest me how to get this done.

How does F8 helps a computer?
When I turned on my computer and in 5 seconds of starting up the blue screen suddenly appears. So I will restart it to be able to fix it but nothing happen. I called my friend to help me and she told me that I should try to press F8 but she didn't told me what will happen after I press it. Just try it she said. So I pressed it and there's 8-9 options to choose from. I tried one of it but nothing happen. Can you help me fix my computer?

I am too much worried about my hard disk. Please read the problem carefully and give me a proper solution.
I have got an 80 GB Samsung SATA hard disk which is out
of warranty period. The problem is that had disk partition is not working and completely vanished. I did four partitions while installing Windows XP and everything was fine. I installed all the software and copied many files from another hard disk.

My laptop is DELL VOSTRO 3400 series and I have been using it for over one year without having any problem. Operating system is Windows 7. But now the touch pad is not fully working. I have a little cousin who is also using my laptop to play video games. I am not sure that he did something wrong to damage it in my absence.
But there is no sign of scratching or any kind of black spot are there to ensure the physical damage. Is this happening for any kind of operating system error or any other physical part? Please, I need a complete guideline.

I am running Windows XP and my PC configuration is like as follow:
Motherboard: Intel® Desktop Board DG41RQ
Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Processor
RAM: Kingston DDR2 SDRAM
The problem is that I can’t access the DVD RAM and brand is ASUS (PATA) 22x DRW-22B2S. I have tried to resolve it by changing the bus and power cable. Though it is showing a green light but still I can’t see the DVD RW Drive on the drive list. But in device manager the drive in the list and seems like it is completely ok. Please give a reasonable suggestion to get rid of this problem.

To all the experts, I need your attention to resolve the following issue.
I have been using Acer Aspire 5732Z laptop for over one year and enjoying a great service from this machine. But I need to deal with brightness problem urgently. Previously it was running on Windows Vista platform. But last week I installed Windows 7 and after then I can’t change the brightness by pressing Fn+Arrow keys.
I have absolutely no clue why is this happening. Every other thing is going very well except this issue. Is this happening for installing any incompatible driver?
But all the hardware drivers seem good.
Please help me regarding this display problem.

To enjoy high quality graphics especially the heavy graphics video games I have recently replace my onboard video card with Nvidia 8800 GTS. My motherboard model is Intel Core 2 Due.
But after one week of good performance it is disturbing too much and I am getting the display problem. I have tried it on different slot but getting the same outcome.
But on other PC it is not showing any sign of the problem.
My PC is working pretty well after removing the video card.
Do I have a faulty motherboard?
What do you think is the main problem that doesn’t came to my mind?

My Twinmos RAM is interrupting regularly. I am using a DDR 512 MB Twinmos RAM on an Intel D865 series motherboard.
I haven’t installed any new device or software for long time and pc performance was pretty good. But I am not getting any display in my pc.
To check the RAM quality, I tried it on different pc and it is working pretty well in there. Same RAM is not working in my pc.
I tried it on different slot and surprisingly the display has shown up but only for 2/3 minutes then it’s all black again.
What’s wrong happening here?
Is there any problem in my motherboard?
