Hi experts ,
I want to assemble a new PC to be used only for music production. I have a lot of files and softwares in my current hard drive, including the OS that I like to use. Can I use the said hard drive and install it in my new PC? If so, which is the right motherboard for it? My old PC was a Compaq Presario, and if I use a new hard drive, some of the software will get lost since it is not registered and I can't find the disks. In that case, I would like to find another way to upgrade everything but I just don't know how will I use the hard drive and make it run. Any suggestions or opinions will be highly appreciated.

Hi all ,
I got an ATI Radeon HD5570 for my Dell Pentium 4 desktop whose OS is Windows 7. I also got two monitors along with it. They are both working good when I plugged and tried them, except when I tried the full screen mode while playing games or watching movies. I can view it in the main monitor, however, the second monitor does not work whenever I switch it to full screen mode. Is it not possible for me to run a game or a movie in full screen mode while running another program with the second monitor? If not, can I split the screen or convert the two monitors as duplicates? Cause I think I might be missing something. Thanks in advance!

Hi All,
I have been using my TS 16633c burner for burning a lot of discs but it has stopped recognizing a blank DVD; though a normal DVD plays normally. The disc can be read in my computer, but the most frustrating part is that it acts like an empty one. I have tried deleting the upper and lower filters, as well as uninstalling it through the device manager. I even restarted my pc, but it didn't work. Sadly, I could not perform a system restore as there are no restore points to choose from. My laptop is an Inspiron 1545 with Windows Vista 64 as its OS. It device drive is the latest DW50 firmware. What should I do about it? thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I have transferred some of my 60-min cassettes to a CD using my computer and I can play it now with Windows Media Player. Those are audio files which I need to send to a transcriptionist via YouSendIt. But I want to download them first into my computer and make some duplicates in CDs without transferring it all over again. How is it possible? Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I'm having problems recently when typing my emails on Gmail with my HP Presario laptop. It's OS is Windows Vista. The letters and spaces are missing out and it's becoming a hassle for me since I have to type in the missing characters all the time. It's weird because I'm not having any trouble with anything else, like posting this one for example.
Maybe when I had my laptop reformatted, something has been changed in its settings or maybe something went wrong. I even removed some of my email contacts thinking that it might have gotten overload in some way, but still it didn't work.
Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.

Hi experts ,
I purchased a new External Drive manufactured by Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk, which is 1TB in size. It worked well when I plugged it into my old laptop but when I clicked on the drive there was a dialog box saying, "The request could not be perform because of an I/O error." I tried it in my desktop computer and it was working good. I was even able to copy my files, install the GoFlex software, and backup some software too. Then I tried it again with my laptop but still it's not working. Can someone please tell me what seems to be the problem? All of the other flashdrives are working fine, so why does my External Drive commits error?
Thanks in advance .

Hi experts ,
I received a laptop from a colleague at work and I have been using it for some time. It was working fine until it suddenly crashed. When I tried to reboot it, I got an error message saying “Disk Read Error. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to Restart”. I tried to reboot it a number of times but I kept on getting the same error message. I even tried connecting it to my new laptop and though I found the HDD, I could not open it. My screen would just freeze and the only way I could shut it down is to course it through the Task Manager or to just disconnect the cable. I also tried booting the Active Disk as well as Recover to no avail.

Is it possible to prevent Mesh from automatically starting and what is the Windows service that runs it? I need it so that i can write a password to mount a disk after Windows has started.
