Internet Security
I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 installed on my Windows Vista PC for few months now.
It was working well and very efficient to use.
But since the 2012 version is already out, I decided to upgrade into it.
But when I was trying to install the 2012 version, I keep getting an error:
Error 1402. Could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsNTCurrentVersionWinlogonNotifyklogon. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
I called some support from Kaspersky but their solution to put a script didn’t help me resolve the issue.

I encountered a pop-up window informing me that my computer was infected and it would “help” in removing the malware. I rushed to download it without thinking twice. I now regret this as I ended up having a severely infected PC with spyware. What is the best way to remove the spyware without having to reformat my PC?And how do I avoid this in the future? What anti-spyware would you recommend? Thanks

I was installing the latest version of Kaspersky Internet Security to my computer. My problem is I could not activate it. An error dialog says that the number of activations using this code exceeded. I hit fix and reinstall button but it gave me the same result. How could I get a different code? Or how would I deal with problems like this?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I just downloaded a trial version of CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2010 then tried to install it. But I got this error message while installing it.
CA Internet Security 2010 Installer.
Error, TokenID not found
I tried re-installing but I still got the same error. I didn’t know anything about the token id and where to find it.
Any advice on what to do next?
Regards.

hi,
I was installing BitDefender Internet Security version 10 from disk to my Win 7 PC then I got this error message. Does this mean the version 10 is not compatible with Win 7? Is there a workaround for this kind of problem? I have searched the web and found nothing. Please help me resolve the problem.

Would you kindly discuss if there are some managers of the system which will be connected to the internet that can limit or eliminate some damage which are done by worm or virus.
If there is a system for that, may we know where can we find and purchase it.
Can you tell us, what are the advantages and disadvantages of having this system.
Please, I really need the complete information and advised.
Thank you so much.

Hey everyone, my problem is the installation of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012.
I can’t finish the setup without an error message appearing on the screen:
Kaspersky Internet Security 2012
Error 1402.Could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogonNotifyklog on. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.”
I have tried rebooting, but no use, and I’m using Windows 7 Pro.
If anyone could help with this particular problem please post an answer here.
Thanks.
