I clicked on a link and a program downloaded in my computer. I tried deleting the downloaded and I thought I did it successfully until some pop ups began showing on my computer. Whenever I access the internet, I just see popups about adverts and other downloads that I do not understand. Help me clean it up

I had a malware in my computer but ever since I got rid of it, my internet speeds have become extremely low. I usually have a 45mbps connection but the most that I can see is 5mbps. The other connected devices work fine but mine does not. Before I removed the malware, it was fast but now it is worse. I need your help

I have Avast antivirus that is updated to its latest version. Whenever it is on, there are some sites that I cannot access. I came to realize that these are sites that have Java. Why is bitdefender total security blocking my internet connection? I recently installed bitdefender total security 2015 on my laptop and I was unable to connect to the internet afterward. I have checked the firewall setting to see if it was responsible, but I did not see any thing to suggest that the firewall is blocking my connection. How do I troubleshoot to find out the reason for this problem?

I hired someone recently to get rid of a virus. They said that I had gotten a virus called "conduit". I looked up what it was and its nasty. But I am still having the same issues that i was having when i hired the person. They were quite pricey so, before i drag him out here again and pay again I want to see if I can figure it out for myself. Can you give me a couple of easy ways to check and see if it is off?
