iPhone
Every time I need to use the GPS on my iPhone 3G, I need to do a network reset before it works and the GPS always stops working after about an hour. I’m not sure why the GPS on my iPhone 3G doesn’t work consistently. There was a time when I tried to use it for long hours and I noticed that the problem got even worse. A few months ago, it would occasionally go out and come back on. Now, more often than not, the GPS is off. Does anyone know the possible causes why it keeps on going out? Are there fixes you know without having to do a network restoration?

Is there an application in Android phones that will allow me to do multitasking and kill open applications? An iPhone has this feature and I would like to know if there is an Android application that will let me kill multiple open applications at once, just like with an iPhone. Is there an Advanced Task Killer for Android phones? And also, I do not want to keep on opening an application to see how many cells I have used and how many data I have inputted. I want to know if there is a data monitoring application that can run in the notification center.

I happen to be working on an application that has 19 tabs that have unique graphics. Those tabs look fine in my mockups but when I imported them in Interface Builder, of course they were all flat gray. Is there a technique or script that can convert my regular colored-bitmap icons to be exactly the same as an iPhone tab graphic? Can anyone give me an automatic way to convert bitmap icons to a properly formatted iPhone tab graphic? Is there a simple Photoshop step or technique to convert these bitmap icons to iPhone tab graphics?

My question is can I switch to Verizon and get a new Android phone whenever I want?
I currently have this iPhone 3G but I really want to switch to Android phone.
I no longer like the iPhone from AT&T. Is it possible to get now the fascinating Android X?
Does it make sense or I shall wait until early 2011 to see the new dual core/LTE phones?
How long before dual core/LTE Android phones come from Verizon?

My sister and I are both using iPhone 4S under the same network and plan. The problem is her Siri could not connect to the network. Mine is working correctly. As I am trying to help her with her problem, we have done countless reboots and resets. It still says, cannot connect and we should try later. How can we fix it? I heard a lot of complains about Siri having issue with the server, I am just wondering if Apple is aware of that. Do you have any suggestions?

As I am trying to update my new iPhone 4S, I received an error stating that “Only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iPhone. Please insert the SIM card that came with your iPhone or visit a supported carrier's store to receive a replacement SIM card." I never used any sim cards or even take out my sim card on my phone. I brought my iPhone to the Apple Store near our place and my problem is questionable to them. So they just replaced it with something new. But the same thing happened after the replacement. What is causing this problem? Help please.

If an iPhone was subscribed to a wireless network, are there any open tcp/udp ports? If so, which port can I use in order connect to another wireless device? Does iPhone allowed an incoming network connection; can we use softwares or any settings in order to block the incoming network connection to the iPhone?

Hey there,
Here's my issue. I had to recover lost data from iPhone 3G, which was not backed up. I have created image of the iPhone which comes around 8 GB. I have used the Photorec to parse the image and it looked like it finished the work. But I have faced a problem with that.
All contacts seem to be in the ‘vcard’ format but it has the extension of ‘.abcdp’. When I am trying to open the same in text editor, it did not open. I have tried with the tutorial but there was no use. Please help me to get out of this problem.
Thanks in advance,
Stephen
