When I try to search flash and java from the store of the software, I find the following message: 

There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows you to install/remove software and to perform other package management related tasks. Please report this error at https://login.launchpad.net/99XpjDRm9ZnH3TKQ/+decide and retry.

Then I tried it again and again, minimum 20 times but same message. Please help me.

I have decided to start a thread on this after think about it for a while.

I have just completed the install of “JAVA ME SDK PLATFORM", but when I run any MIDlet, I get a JIT error. This error appears to be related to each computer because I tried installing it on two different PCs and the same error shows up.

If I work in Netbeans however, everything seems to be ok.

I’m in a really bad mood because I can’t get Java installed on my laptop.

I Have been trying to solve this now for a couple of months.

I just can't seem to figure out what it all means.

I Have come across a frustrating problem, which occurs when I try and install a newer version of java.

When the install is nearly complete, an error Popup says "Could not create a virtual machine" and it finishes the install.

I have Google the problem, but everything seems to be related to minecraft, which I don’t need. Here is the screenshot:

I am writing a program in java. The screenshot of the program is as follows:

The method append (string) is undefined for the JTextFeild

As you can see above I get a red line under "append". Why is that so? I have observed that I always get it, when I use a jtext field. When I use the jtext area instead of the field, it is resolved.

Why is this so? Can anyone please guide me how to get rid of this error?

I am using netbeans to refer to integrated development environment (IDE) for developing with java. I have installed the version 7 of IDE but before that I was using the 6.9 version which was running perfectly fine. The version 7 of IDE results in more frequent errors than version 6.9. I don’t know why but I keep on getting the following error message on my screen:

Fatal Error: Cannot recover after last error. Any further errors will be ignored.

In the previous day I had done updating (all thing but the kernel) of my fedora 9. Right now I got to see that the updating some java type broke down. I started any notes and tried to connect to the domino server(pop up when new mail comes) after that got crashed.

In dmesg I got: notes2w[3298]: segfault at 0 ip 001a4fe5 sp bfa3ea60 error 6 in libj9prt23. So [195000+21000]

How could it be possible to debug this? Could someone from the enterprise of java help me out to solve it? I usually update once or twice in a week.

Hi,

I am trying to make a photo booth app but I can't seem to figure it out. I am trying to allow the app to have access to webcams in the local vicinity, gain the frame and then show it to the user after a special effect has been added to it.

I used Jpanel & swing components to make the app; however, my client is asking the app to be run in the browser.  There is an access error when I use the applet to access the webcam. I am aware I need to sign the applet, even after doing this it won't work.
