Laptops/Notebooks
I have a Dell 700m laptop with internal speaker complications. Sometimes they function well but after a while (random time span) they don’t work at all. This is forcing me to use head phones almost the whole day. I once heard somewhere that putting on head phone for long can head to certain health problems.
I have tried to look for ways to solve the problem. I found some tutorials on the web;

My Laptop battery does not meet the expected life. I have purchased a Laptop 10 months ago. My laptop came along with a 6 cell battery, which initially gave me approximately two and half – 3 hours back up time, as promised by the Manufacturer. It has now started giving me about 1 hour back up time.

I purchased my personal very first Mac, a 20? iMac, and Furthermore, I have a very few Macrelated concerns. I have observed that there are numerous blog posts for the Apple community forums concerning screen brightness issues. Individuals state that their iMacs, both 20 as well as 24, have unevenly lit screens. I was wanting to know if you have observed anything at all regarding this? I ended up being worried about this at first, but I think that it may just be people nitpicking. I was also curious about if you have got used a program known as Circus Ponies, for mac. It appears to be just like an intriguing and useful piece of software, plus That I was wondering if it was worth paying the $50 price tag.

I woke up this morning and met the unexpected, my laptop was completely dead! The previous night everything worked ok, i never experienced anything strange until i logged off.
I first thought that the there was a problem with the battery because pressing the power button did nothing, no lighting no signal, everything was dead and quiet. I borrowed a friend’s battery who had the same model, his battery did not worked on my PC but mine did on his, so the problem was not the battery.
I checked on power and the power code, they were both alright. I removed the power supply and took it to our school computer lab technician who tested it and told me there was no voltage on the 5v plug. I bought a new plug, connected it but nothing worked.

How to replace the battery pack of a laptop?
My dad gave me his old HP laptop nothing was wrong except that is always lowbat and the charger was a bit loose. Now after a couple weeks the charger completely broke.
When my dad gave me his laptop he got a new (a HP) and I am trying to use his charger but its not working. The funny thing was that it worked a few days and after I used it the laptop didn't worked anymore.
After that I didn't used and opened it for a month now. What is the problem of my laptop?

Hello,
Any technical help please?
I was in the process of installing the Windows XP Pro32 onto my PC with 500 GB hard drive, but I realized that Win 7 is more fascinating.
And so, I stopped the installation process of Windows XP Pro 32, restarted the PC and proceeded in installing the Win 7.

I am in possession of a dell GX280 system – its form factor being tower – that has shown the following issues lately:
1. Fan issues: first and foremost the fan is very noisy and secondly it runs really fast. The system also hangs a lot and has really slowed down lately with processor really heating up. I did try applying the processor paste to the processor, while this did make the noise go away, it didn’t solve the slowness of the computer.

The make of my PC is dell desktop. I have been using this computer for a while until recently it started developing some complications while booting. Sometimes it produces a funny sound around the motherboard but it doesn’t display anything. The fans are working and their some lighting in the motherboard.
The button used for switching on the CPU sometimes doesn’t work you press it and it doesn’t switch on as expected and normally when I press it once it switches on. Normally whenever it refuses to switch on I power it off and open the CPU and I perform the following actions, remove the hard disk and also remove the microprocessor and then i return it back as it was again.

Hi,
I am using a dell laptop for a while (about 3 years). Has been in use, under a lot of pressure. Its becoming old I know, but I think my one is just overheating too much, since a few days. Is there any way I can fix it?
