I am planning to buy Surface pro laptop. I have few concerns below: Is it alright if i get it from Canada? Price wise it is far cheaper. Will the service be valid in India. I am aware that the release of surface pro three is planned in month of June in India. Will there be any other problems regarding updates and location related services. I also believe that i can run MATLAB and other desktop software on surface Pro 3. If anybody in India are already using it, please share your valuable experience

Hi all, Is there way to turn off the Webcam in HP laptop: laptop make (Hp 15-r203TU) purchased from Amazon. Every time it boots, it turns the camera light on for some item and then turns off. What i have observed is, once the webcam light turns on, it will there for 5-10 seconds and goes off automatically. I am worried, if this is because of a virus. It is embarrassing but now i have put a sticker to block the camera. Can anybody help in resolving this issue at the earliest? Thanks to you all in advance

I am facing a unique problem here. My laptop was purchased in 2012 and it came with windows 7 operating System. I recently got Windows 8.1 OS installed from a service centre. After about 15 days, the FAN in the laptop turns on and runs at full speed. It is very annoying. Laptop is cool now all the time but the sound is little frustrating. Also, let me know if i go for reinstallation of OS. Please reply if more information is required. PS: Earlier, the laptop fan used to turn on only when i played high graphic games.

I own Dell inspiron 15.6 inch laptop. It was fine till yesterday. This morning, whenever i power on, nothing comes on the screen and all i can hear is only a few beeps. I have restarted the laptop many times and i noticed that the number of beeps is 8 everytime. Has Let me know how to resolve this. I have project work to be completed early next week and any quick response is highly appreciated. Currently laptop is 4 year old, 4GB RAM and 500 GB hard disk. I have a HP laptop bought in the year 2011. The battery of the laptop now is totally dead. It doesn't give back for more than 5 seconds. I am planning to buy a battery soon. But, My question is, whether it is safe to have a dead battery in laptop while using the laptop from mains power. Can i remove the battery of the laptop? is it safe? I have annoying problem with my laptop. I just recently installed a game with it. It keeps on bugging me, Every time I’ve been playing for about an hour or two, the laptop will turn off or restart by itself. I tried to turn off for the meantime and let it cool down. It will work for a few minutes and then it will turn off again. Can you provide me resolution for this problem? Can you provide me also alternative ways to do it? What could be causing this issue? Is it the game that I installed?

I just bought a new laptop few days ago. I use internet for my work. Every thing’s seems to be working okay with it and recently, while working on Mozilla Firefox, it keeps on showing “Loading…” or sometimes much worse, “Page Cannot Be Displayed.” There were times that I cannot access web page, but most of the time it will show white page with the messages mentioned. Is there any way that we can resolve this issue? Can you provide me alternative ways to resolve this problem?

I am just new here. I would like to ask for assistance with my laptop. This is a new laptop. I just bought it 2 weeks ago. It keeps on loosing battery right away. I charge it every day to make it sure that it is full charge. But it will only take 30 minutes for the battery to drain. I have to make it sure that the power cord is always plugged to outlet. I can’t bring it anywhere I want. Can you provide me solution on how to maximize the battery life for this laptop? What could be causing this issue? Is there any alternative way to resolve it?

I just bought this laptop few days ago. Everything is working fine with it except the battery. It will only take 30-40minutes before the battery drains out. I have to make it sure that the battery is always full before I unplug the charger. I tried to unplug and re-plug the battery also to make it sure that it is not loose. Can you help me with this issue? What could be the cause of this? Is it because of the running programs? Is there any alternative ways to resolve this issue?
