My laptop's motherboard went bad today and I was told by tech support that I should send it back to have the part replaced. I need to get the data off my hard drive before I send the laptop off for repair. I need a recovery solution and I do not mind spending some cash for it. Do you have suggestions?

I have a HP laptop with configuration Intel I3, 2 GB, 320 HDD.
I installed counter strike global offensive (which I purchased from Flipkart) but when I tries to start/play it ,after the startup screen of game ,my laptop shuts down.
Please help me I am very much passionate to play this game.

I am using a Dell Vostro which is now out of warranty, When I changed my window 8 to window 7 everything was ok except the speakers. Speakers create a huge noise whenever I increase the volume more than 30 % in vlc. Can this be solved just by troubleshooting or I need to replace my speakers. In case of replacement, Tell me how to open the laptop myself and replace them, As the technician will charge much.

I was running Hitman Pro on my Sony Vaio laptop, shut the computer down and when I turned it back on, it will no longer boot and goes straight to recovery options menu. It seems that the C drive is no longer recognized, I get a message that states that the OS is not detected on the drive and therefore cannot boot to Windows. What should I do now?

My screen on my Latitude E4300 went bad. It just started to flash different colors on my screen while I was working on it. So I shut it down, turned it back on but immediately after booting up to Windows, horizontal lines started to come up. I hooked it up with an external monitor and the problem was also observed. Is there something wrong with my graphics card?

My Inspiron 5537 should have come with the Wave Maxx Audio4.0 feature, but there seems to be no control available for it. I know MaxxxAudio has a lot of features but I cannot access those because I cannot find a utility for it. Now, I wonder if my computer really did come with Maxxaudio, and if yes, where can I find it?

3 Months back I have purchased DELL INSPIRON 15R 5521. It is working properly, but the system is being overheated Within 15-20 minutes of time without running any tasks. It is heating up to 60 degrees C. I called dell customer care and they have replaced the cooling system. But, I am again facing the same problem. I can not understand what is going on here. Please some body help me for a solution.Thanks!

My laptop, a Lenovo Ideapad has a problem. It goes to sleep mode, then it goes BSOD. I haven't installed any hardware or software lately that could have caused the problem. The hibernation works, though. Could it be a video driver problem or do I have to reinstall the OS?

My Inspiron laptop is not giving any sound. I already checked the sound settings and made sure the volume was up and the audio device was properly detected in device manager. I plugged in a headphone and it worked, but if I play it out from the laptop's internal speakers,nothing. What other steps can I try to isolate the problem? I'm hoping it's not a hardware issue.

My laptop is running on Windows 8.1 and I'm having some problems with my USB ports. It's frequently giving me errors like it cannot recognize the device etc. It does not happen all the time, but it's becoming too frequent and it's frustrating. I've plugged in different devices, sometimes it gets detected, sometimes it's not. Any help please?
