I have a Dell laptop that came with a docking station which is also a Dell. I did not have any idea if it was okay to undock the laptop anytime I wanted. I removed the laptop from the docking station while it was still on. I was able to continue working on the laptop but when I powered it on today, it got stuck at the Dell logo. What is wrong with my laptop and does it need repair?

I want to use my laptop for streaming videos/movies and display it on my Samsung 32" LCD flat screen TV. My laptop has a VGA connector, but I want a digital output so I'm thinking of using HDMI. My laptop does not have an HDMI port. How do I connect my laptop to the TV using an HDMI cable? There are adapters available online I can purchase, will it work?

I installed Win 8.1 on my laptop, an HP Probook 450 G0 and made sure it has been installed with the most recent updates available. It came installed with Validity Fingerprint Reader but I can't use it. There is no option for the fingerprint sensor on the window sign-in options. Nothing happens when I roll my finger over the sensor. What do I need to do to make it work? Do I need to install other software?

My Dell laptop is not turning on. I reseated the battery and the power adapter but nothing changed. I tried turning it on using only the battery and it worked, but if I have the power adapter plugged into the laptop, the power button only blinked for a second and nothing else happened. What the hell is wrong with my laptop? 

My HP Touchsmart 310-1125y computer went to sleep and when I went back, the screen briefly flashed for a second then it went blank. I turned it off and turned it back on, the same screen displayed for a second then went black again. I can hear the Windows startup sound so I tried typing my password it and it sounded like it went through. But I am still not getting any video. What should I do?

From this morning when I have opened my laptop I have this error when I try to open any program. I restarted my laptop hoping that will solve the problem, but it didn’t. I did a system restore and it doesn’t work. Now I can’t use my laptop at all because of this error. Does anyone know if this might be a virus? How can this be solved and what caused it?

I installed Modern Warfare on my laptop today, but when I tried to play the game this error cut all my dreams of playing. I don’t know how can be solved this error, the only thing that I did was to reinstall the game hoping to solve it, no chance. Is any expert online and can help me to fix this error? When I have installed all my TOSHIBA laptop’s drivers also I have installed some utilities. This morning this message appeared and I am a bit confused. My laptop is Ok and is working just fine. I have updated my Dell Laptop to Windows 8.1 and at every 5minutes this message appears. I “core.splang” and I think maybe my CPU is not working properly. I have an Intel I7 Yvi Bridge 2.2 GHz. I have checked the System Properties and it seems that everything is working fine. What is happening with my laptop, why I have this error and how I can repair it ?
