Hello,

When I turn my laptop on I can connect to the internet normally. However, in the middle of browsing suddenly websites stop loading and I check my network connection and it says no internet access, but it says its connected. I am using a modem so when this happens i reconnect it and same thing happens after a few minutes. Is there anyway I can stop this from happening?

I have a Netbook and I wanted to access the BIOS. I was able to access it and I did not change anything. Soon after that, when I turned on my Netbook, it constantly starts a repair loop. I can’t reinstall Windows since it doesn’t have an optical drive. Booting in safe mode has not helped either. Any suggestions?

I don't have a functional laptop, and I've been weighing both of these two devices against each other. I am a student, so if I were to get the Surface Pro 2, one of the things I'd certainly use it for would be notes taking (by hand using the stylus). Does anyone have opinions regarding these two devices? Which one is best for a student?

My new laptop won't connect to the WiFi at my house, but can connect when I'm in my friend's house, in the library, etc. No other devices in the house have this problem (phones, consoles, tablets, other laptops/computers can connect easily) and yet my connection is always "limited". Can anybody offer any advice/troubleshooting?

I have an Asus Laptop with the following specs: RAM- 8GB, Intel i3-3220 and Windows 8.1.

At first it had Windows 8 and when fully charged it could stay for 6 hours but now after the upgrade to Windows 8.1 battery only stays for 2 hours. Does Windows 8.1 consume more power? Can I reduce power consumption?

I am using Windows 8 on Lenovo B570e but I can’t access BIOS. When the computer boots it indicates that to enter BIOS I should press F2 but I have tried a lot with no avail. The key F2 is working on all other occasions except entering into BIOS. Can anyone help?

I have a weird problem with my Acer laptop whereby it automatically goes to sleep mode in the middle of operations. I know it should go to sleep when not in use but it doesn’t do that. Sometimes am in the middle of surfing, watching movie, playing a game etc. Any ideas why it is behaving this way?

My Toshiba laptop has a problem whenever it goes to sleep mode. When I wake it, it doesn’t display anything but I can tell it is running in the background. It produces sound such as antivirus updates etc. Even after forcing it to shut down by pressing power button it will restart in same condition and I may not be able to use it for a number of hours. Then it comes back to normal by itself. Does anyone have an idea of what the problem could be?

I have been using my Acer Laptop for 1 year now but my keyboard is behaving weird. There is one key that has a problem and that is “Q”. Whenever I open an editor such as Ms Word, letter Q automatically types itself non-stop. What should I do? Can I replace only one key on the keyboard if I take it to a repair shop? Please advice?
