Laptops/Notebooks
Why is it that toshiba laptop with an AMD single core 2.20GHz processor and with a 2GB, 256MB dedicated ATI graphic card is not able to display demanding pics like 3D pics but, another toshiba laptop with a core i3 processor with a 2GB,64MB dedicated intel HD graphic card is able to display better than the other one with laptop.
Is it the processor that make it do better or what?
To add to it all they all have 4GB RAM. what accounts for that?

I have been trying to download the new Dell Support Center on my Dell laptop and keep receiving error code 1306. Another application has exclusive access to the file C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataSupportSoftDellSupportCenterSYSTEMstatelogssprtcmd.log. It suggests I shut down all other applications and then retry. However, nothing is open, no any window, no application is open. Can you tell me how I can find that particular program on the computer? Also I wanted to know how I can get rid of this particular error message on the computer.
Please help me to solve this problem.

What went wrong with my laptop’s card reader?
I bought my laptop with Windows Vista installed.
All went perfect and I have no complains.
One day I decided to upgrade my OS to Windows 7 and things were seem to be fine as well.
However, I discovered one day that its card reader is no longer working as it could not detect anymore the SD card that I inserted to when I wanted to transfer the photos to the hard disk.
It is the same card it used to read. I tried other cards but still I got no response.
What could be the possible problem?
Your help will be greatly appreciated

What causes the Laptop’s LCD to solidify?
My friend who was working abroad sent me a box containing his laptop which he is going to get from me once he has gotten home. After five months he was back home and came to me to get the laptop which was still in the box that I had kept in a glass cabinet.
When we opened the box we were shocked to find out that the laptop’s LCD screen had crystallized or solidified. What caused this?
Can it be repaired or replaced?
Please help.

I own a Toshiba laptop that has a single core AMD processor(2.1GHz and 4 GB ram) so that makes it very difficult for me to play some games like FIFA soccer on my laptop, but i have seen another laptop just like mine with the same shape, size of screen, keyboard, battery and the same hdd size, In fact they look the same but the problem is that other laptop has dual core processors and can play the games i cannot play. I want to ask if i can change my processor to a dual core processor so that i can play the games i want to play?

Hi,
I have an HP mini 110-3500 with Windows 7 Starter installed. Last night its touchpad had stopped working. I thought I had accidentally turned it off but the touchpad toggle button is nowhere in sight. When I accessed the Mouse Properties on the Control Panel, I got the message that says "Unable to connect to Synaptics Pointing Device". Please help me on how to re-enable my touchpad.
