I just bought a new laptop and I don't want it to be damaged not broken immediately so I want to know what are laptop accessories that I should really have to prolong the life of my laptop. Because I know compared to desktops, laptops are more vulnerable to damage and it tends to overheat immediately.

Whenever i tried to do some work, it takes 2,3 mints to load the application each time, let me know about the issue.

I currently own an HP Pavilion laptop (Artist Edition) using a NVIDIA Chipset. Recently while I booted up the system, the LCD screen stays black but still you can hear the start-up sounds, I left it running for a while and the screen returns back to normal. What do you think about this problem? Is it the NVIDIA chipset going bad or the LCD screen? Is it possible to replace the chipset?

My brother played with my laptop, then all of a sudden the speaker of the laptop produced a chirping sound. The speaker from then on isn't working properly. I tried to set up the speakers and also test what side of the speaker is not working. I noticed that both speakers produced a cracking sound.

What should I do with this, because I'm fun of watching movies through my laptop.

Hi i have a Asus EEE netbook which i recently brought, It was working properly last morning but now i am looking a problem on my netbook that i can't select or use to open any application by my touch pad but i can move my cursor any where. I have to use another key to select anything like icon, slide bar, windows etc. And my operating system is Windows 7.

I usually leave my laptop turned on for a long time, and I don't really like using my laptop while it is connected to my power adapter cause I find it quite of a hassle because of the wire connected to it.

I just want to make sure if it is okay to leave my laptop to hibernate overnight instead of totally shutting it down to avoid going over on the applications and open it one by one again.

Will it also drain the battery in hibernate mode?

I encountered a problem with my laptop before wherein everytime I plug the power cord the

whole thing freezes. The screen, the keyboard and the mouse stop functioning. But using the

battery as the power supply the laptop is functioning well. Is the problem on the power cord?

Please help me find the root cause of the problem.

I have the following problem:

I was using my Asus R2H netbook on it's own power source (battery) when it suddenly shut down. I then connected the power cable while the battery was still in and turned it on. It started to boot for about 3 seconds then it suddenly went down again. I then put the battery aside and reconnected the power cable. Again, the same issue happened. Basically it doesn't start up anymore. Do you guys have any idea what can I do ?

Hi, I’m Jason. I found my laptop, HP Compaq 2210b, running Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3 not detecting its Bluetooth device. I try to check the device manager, and found the Bluetooth device is enabled. I also could not connect my Bluetooth on my laptop to my Blackberry. My blackberry is fine, since I manage to transfer a file using Bluetooth to and Android device.

So, the question is, Do I suddenly touch or click something that makes my Bluetooth unavailable? Or is it broken? But why do I still found the Bluetooth device indicator on the Device Manager? I’m thinking of reinstall the driver, but I could not found the driver. Any suggestion would be great.
