I have both LED and LCD monitors but I can not understand what is the different between them.

Anyone knows what is the difference exactly? which is better among the two?

First I am using Monitor. But due to eye effect I replace it with LCD.

But today my LCD is not working proper when I try to open any media player or any game then I receive below error and some time LCD don’t display any thing also some time white spot appear on my LCD.

I am very confused about it what is this please tell me any one about this error.

I am using Samsung SynMaster 732N (plus) 17” LCD monitor science 2007. I was satisfied with its performance.

But nowadays a thin blue line comes up on the display when PC on. It’s become permanent.

For every work I do, blue line is visible.

It’s so much annoying for me.

Please anyone gives me the right solution.

I connected my 42” LCD TV to my laptop using a standard monitor cable, at first I was able to watch movies, but after 30 minutes my 42” LCD TV goes blank screen even tuning to local channel won’t make the screen display.

So I turn off the power of the LCD TV for 20 seconds, the LCD TV is working properly. Then I use the HDMI cable to connect my 42” LCD TV to my laptop and the result is the same.

My LCD Monitor is a Samsung (SyncMaster 720n). I have been using it for 3 years. But now it's skin is trembling. How can I solve this problem? Why it does occur?

I have a problem with my wide LCD display from my PC. It's a 21.5 inch Horizon model 2204LW5 and in it's manual and on the box it is written that it can support a resolution of up to 1920×1080.

After i connected it to the pc, it doesn't recognize the fact that it is wide and i only have 4:3 resolutions up to maximum of 1600×1200. My graphics card is an ATI HD 5670. I've reinstalled the drivers and everything.

The graphics card has hdmi and dvi and the monitor has only a dvi port so i linked them with a dvi – vga connector and a vga-vga cable. In addition to all this, after i set it to 1600×1200 the image is distorted.

Can you help me please?

I just want to get an advice with you guys… I am planning to buy an HDMI cable for my monitor, because I am so excited to see the difference compared to VGA cable, My question is… Will it differ if I buy a cheaper HDMI cable compared to branded HDMI cables? In 1986, I bought a TV by RCA Console (25”) and still it is serving me without any color fading or dark spots and hope that it will serve more.

In March 2008, I went through a report published in a consumer report magazine and they had written ratings on TVs. I was checking some TVs on the net at Walmart and I got interested on the VIZIO 32” (HDTV of w/digital tuner where the model is VWL32HDTV10A). Its price downed to $527 from $597. I had the range of below $600 and it has come down since March.
