I’ve been a user of Toshiba Satellite laptop for three years now. Since it has difficulties in its hard drive and I can’t even find any copy of its Windows OS, I’ve changed my laptop back into Linux OS.

I want it to plug into the TV to watch any .avid and drag any files like what I always do when it was still a Windows computer. Now, please help me find any particular Linux’s adopt versions so that I can enjoy every feature that a Linux should have. Thanks for your help.

I'm (re)installing Ubuntu on my Toshiba NB100 netbook (Intel Atom, 120GB HD, 2GB RAM). Already have a partition I call "Stuff" with all my media and docs. Will be deleting the one I had Win7 on (making it the swap), and then there is a recovery one.

How big a swap partition should I create?

During installation, I have a choice of creating swap space in a Primary or an Extended partition.

Which should I choose?

During installation Linux creates a swap space partition. Why do I need this and how is it different from a Windows swap file? Please help me out. Thanks in Advance.

I am using AmigaOS 1.x. I encountered a fatal error problem to my system. After this error appeared, my system crashed. I’ve searched the internet using my laptop but I don’t understand what reasons or what I mean its very technical issue to deal with it. They said it some kind of a blue crash in windows. I am using Version 4 of AmigaOS. Every time I copy a file to my USB this error always pops up.

I searched the internet about this error message, and I found that this error message was an error handler called

The Grim Reaper.

The error displays what error but not the solution, so of course I need to look for solutions but no luck.
