Recently I have started to use Linux and don’t know much about Linux. I mean how its file system works. I am trying to share files. But I am facing problem with file sharing. When I access shared folder from Linux it just comes out with “Local Disk”, nothing else. Please, help me to solve this.

The shared and non shared data in the kernel structure will be manipulated through the coordination of the UNIX activities where it passes to the Windows NT between the kernel I/O components. 

What are the advantages and disadvantages of these approached?

After learning the basics of programming shell scripts in Linux, I am having trouble with looping and am looking for some examples of how to perform this function.

Why is it that when I added a non-root user and tried to make use of the "su" command to turn the user into root, it didn't work, instead I got the error message "permission denied". What else can I do to solve this problem?

How can i remove Linux and Install Windows 7?

I am not sure how to explain this when I was using Linux Mint 2 which name was Bianca I used to attach some picture which it showed while booting and Gnome had boot splash utility which showed what it was loading and when. I have also attached some Pictures of distributions. I wanted to know is it possible with new Linux distributions.

When I booted my PC the icon came which said the script has not run properly and said if you want to delete it. I deleted that and now I am not being able to start the internet and also many other programs. And none of them start up.

Nautilus is having some problem that it is not being able to open files.

When I tried to open opera, Vlc, chromium after I downloaded them from the browser I get this message.

I am stuck at 3rd step of the Linux mint 11 installation which is "Allocate Drive Space".

I get the error message "No root file system is defined".

The buttons of adding and changing partitions is disabled.

Please help me out.
