hi there friends
i want to enable hibernation on debian using a computer with 2.5 ghz and i have discovered that during installation process
the hibernation function wasn’t added on Debian,i want your help to proceed again.
The error was this one : "failed to hibernate session"

Anyone else does?

In a production setup it is often a good idea to have
Lots of small partitions for the data rather than one large one. But I am not able to do it with Linux debian.

After migrating a Debian virtual machine from VMware ESX to XenServer, the virtual machine fails to boot.
The boot sequence fails at the following error: “ALERT! /dev/sda1 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!”
and i had this message "can't access tty job control turned off"
any ideas to help resolving the error will be appreciate

Hi again,
i am working this past years with Linux debian but tried to reinstall it ; this worked fine but after the initial pxe boot, the installation halts with this error: "some of your hardware need non free firmware file to operate.The firmware can be loaded from removable media such as a USB stick or floppy" can your understand the meaning of this error or do you have an answer that i can use immediately to resolve the error?

Hi.
after restoring evolution from a backup ,immediately I got an error: i feel confuse and don't know what to do
the error is " error loading address book"
