I'm so sick of Linux slow Flash Player. YouTube videos on a full screen mode and Mozilla Firefox either become unstable or choppy and it often crashes. Is there any other flash player for Linux other than Adobe Flash Player? I don't really know how to get it faster. Please help…

We have a Sonic Wall Firewall and I would like to add disturbance detection on the network. The principal of the company is asking about is there is any options that sit between the Firewall and network. We have the Sonic Wall subscribed to per-year licensing and I'm worried that will this activity slow down the Firewall performance.

Any ideas for a Linux based intrusion detection option which doesn’t require being configured as a Firewall.

I have the latest version of Ubuntu installed in my 32 bit desktop machine, i.e. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.I have Google Chrome as my default browser installed. When I visit web pages having streaming video files using Google Chrome, a message prompts on my screen telling me missing desired plug-in.

This error specially occurs when I try to play .WMA/.WMV extension files. I am thinking what do I need to install, in order to play streaming videos with audio correctly.
