Now, I am running on Linux and I am trying to figure out if there is such thing as phone recording for Linux. It could be something like an answering machine for phone calls and if somebody could pick up the phone aside from me, it will record and save the conversation.

I’m using a MacBook pro with Apple OS X Lion with NVIDIA video drivers. For some reason, I have a feeling that NVIDIA control panel on OS x lion is slowing down system performance. Sometimes, it comes to worst that it even crashes the system and I have no other choice but to force close the applications with my unsaved work and restart all over again. However, what happened after cloning, the new disk fails to boot into Linux operating system.
