I would like to hear your opinion if it is better for business and consumer PC users to use Linux operating systems rather than Windows and Star Office.

I am using SUSE and I want a Linux terminal command to search Unix hierarchy files with a pipe in their name, and rename them to dash.
Any idea as to how this can be expressed?

I had a Program Error after installing Adobe Photoshop 7.0 in my Linux Debian. I re-installed the program but still encountered this serious problem when running Photoshop. Is there a way that I can recover from this problem? Can someone please help?
Error:
Program Error
The program Photoshop.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check http://appdb.winehq.org for tips about running this application.

I was working with RF Cascade Workbook 2005 with my Ubuntu: Intrepid lbex. I opened the GNOME Gnumeric spreadsheet with drag and drops. I got an error when I open it. When I hit the Close button on the bottom part of the error message, GNOME Gnumeric seems to fix the issue. But I want to know if the error may cause something serious in the future. +
Please send me some ideas.
Thanks.

My keyboard is not working when I turned my PC on to Linux. My PC is dual boot to Windows 7 and Linux Redhat 5. I tried to reboot and connected a different keyboard but it did not solve the problem. Please let me know how I should fix this issue.
