I received a message "server not responding" and “Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) server host is not known”, an error through the Lotus Notes client. What is the meaning of this and how I can solve it?

By way of our connect data card, we are capable of surfing the internet but incapable of duplicating Lotus Notes Version R 7.0.1. on Windows Vista 32.

Yesterday, I sought to renovate my Notes installation. As I am a developer, I began the notes_designer_admin853_w32en.exe on my Windows 7 x64 Enterprise, and went to town.

At some instant in the installation, I was notified with the below message.

What is going on and can you resolve my problem?

Every couple years, there are individuals who study our necessities vs. the abilities of business level software packages like those of Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, and others. I am still to see if Notes will triumph the "bake off" yet again.

I have installed in my computer the Lotus Notes version 8.5.

How can I configure it in such a way so that my instant messages will be saved and is this also applicable to my past instant messages received and were once saved as well?

I'm using Lotus Notes archive database for quite some time now so I have quite a number of items in my database. When I opened the database just now, I was greeted with this error message:

Database Corrupt — Cannot Allocate Space.

What is likely the cause of this problem?  I'm suspecting that my database might really be corrupted. If it is, what can I do to recover the database?

I installed a Lotus Notes in my new computer, but it was not configured. What should I do in order to set up Notes? 

I want to create an e-mail using Lotus Script and send it and receive a reply using the same script. Is that possible? If so, how can I do that?

We are facing a problem here with Lotus notes 8.5.1. It was my duty to provide the best service to my company and my company’s clients.

But here we get an error message which could be resolved this way. First, is to resolve by shutting down the client, deleting the workspace folder under the data directory, and then restart the client.

It resolves the error then. But this time it’s different. We can’t identify the root cause of this problem.

We have a backup option to save all the details of our clients. It works fine. Our clients are happy about this. But the worst thing comes up when the apps being copied by the network and the notes client launches trying to access the files. 

When creating or editing new forms in Lotus Turbo I get the following error message:

"X Error Loading Data- The Data is not Available. Contact your System Administrator."

I am able to process the old form but I can’t edit them into new ones. Please help me get rid of this problem. Thanks.
