Hello! I have always wondered what happens when a key on a keyboard is actually pressed. I mean when I press a specific key lets say 'A' what happens at the back end that the screen displays the alphabet A. I mean since we all know that communication in computers is digital (binary), so what is the actual procedure which shows the result of the key which is pressed?

Hi! I have always been inspired by people who have a great typing speed. I work very hard to increase my typing speed but the best that I could do so far is 45 words per minute(WPM). There are two questions that I want to ask.

1) What is the average typing speed and does my speed fall in the average category?

2) How can I increase my typing speed because I have seen people do 80 wpm+ which is simply unbelievable.

Both my mouse and keyboard have started behaving in a strange manner in the last few days. I mean, sometimes when you click on the browser with the right-side button of the mouse, it closes it and when I click the windows key on the keyboard, it alternates tabs. It keeps on changing the functions of keys until you cannot do anything with it without making mistakes. Is this a virus? How does it affect my hardware? How can I remove it?

I installed windows 10 technical preview and when my computer was ready to use, none of the devices connected via USB worked. I restarted the computer several times, unplugged and returned the devices but none is working. When the computer is beginning the boot process, all the devices work since I can see light on the mouse and keyboard. Immediately it passes the Windows logo, everything stops working. Help me solve this.

I am running Windows 7 on my Acer laptop and I want to disable by touchpad since it is too sensitive. I have tried different options but it does not work properly. Instead, it runs the cursor all over the screen making it completely unusable. Now I want to completely disable it or reduce its sensitivity but I cannot do any. I have also reinstalled drivers but it does not work. Please help.

Hello, my friend insists that there is a benefit to an actual wired mouse versus a wireless mouse, but I can't seem to figure out any real benefit.  I use a wireless mouse all the time and do not have issues.  Is there anything that I am not realizing with a wired mouse that would be of benefit?

I have been using the Apple Magic Mouse and would like to find a replacement for it. The Magic Mouse is really uncomfortable to use. And now the battery door will not stay closed. What would be a good Apple replacement? Will a regular mouse work better and be more comfortable?
