I worked in a job called "data entry". As much as possible I want to finish my work as fast as I can to earn extra credits from my employers and for me to finish my work on time as well.

My job is basically to do copy paste of information.

How do I do shortcut by using keyboard?

I think it is more convenient for me to finish my work on time.

What are the other shortcuts that I can apply related to my work?

I have a Smart Card USB keyboard of DELL, after installing a fresh copy of windows, it asks for a driver but I didn’t install it ever & it work properly. But now, when I put the Windows XP cd to boot, it asks “press any key” & my keyboard looks like dead & doesn’t work. Keyboard model is SK-3106 & pc motherboard is D845grg, any one please help.

I always enjoyed eating while watching movies on my laptop. But, through the years food accumulated under the keyboard. Unlike my desktop's keyboard which is light and can easily be turned over at most often i just gave it taps on its back then they came clean, my laptop is quite heavy and im afraid if i give it taps it will break. Any suggestions?

For some reason I always getting a message that says my usb device is disconnected. After a couple of minutes, it will say connected again. It’s very annoying to hear the disconnection sound.

Right now these are the usb devices that are connected to my Dell Optiplex.

• USB optical mouse
• Keyboard

I don’t know if the problem is on my devices or with the usb port of my computer. I tried unplugging them all and use them one by one but I still got that message. Also, I checked device manager and everything seems to be fine.

 Hi everyone, I'm in an office environment where I have many of the same workstations/ desktops / keyboard, and mice.  Everyone is on W7 x64. I had to re-image one of the workstations yesterday and I can't get the mouse or keyboard to install.  In fact, nothing USB wise will install. It's really strange and seems so basic, but I don't have a solution. Please help so I can get this user back on his workstation!

Are computer mice good only for a given number of clicks? I have bought several times a computer mouse and noticed that for a certain period of time they no longer become operational  and that happened even without signs of any damage. One time I was told that computer mice are only good for a given number of clicks, say 1,000,000 clicks. Is this really true? If so, is there a way to reset them so they become functional again?

Recently I have discovered that my mouse keeps freezing at random intervals. It happens every 10-20 minutes, in a batch of 3-4 freezes that last under one second each. I tried using a different USB slot for my mouse, and it still does it.

Any tips will be appreciated, thanks.

I am currently using a laptop  in a lightning prone area. I have noticed that every time a lightning strikes while I am touching the keyboard I feel some sparks and as though am being electrocuted. What could be the problem?

Is it normal?

Example: When I write any cell or table just same word (e and e) it is not possible.

But why? What is the combination with the same word and keyboard? I don’t know.

My keyboard number pads are inactive. I need to activate it immediately. I am a data entry operator. So I need every time keyboard number pads.

In my profession always need number pads. My PC is still turning on but number pads are not running.

My keyboard is not older keyboard but is it also a new keyboard that I bought some months ago.
