Hi,
We will have several email ids configured for people for different support shifts and we want to ensure that the incoming email is forwarded automatically to the person on call.
I therefore want to configure the forwarding of incoming messages to recipients in such way that when a message arrives to a certain Email ID, it gets forwarded to other Email ID (s) that are to be picked up automatically by Exchange server based on the time that the incoming message is received and matching that with the person on support call.
We can store the matrix of Email IDs and shifts in a separate file or in Exchange Server (in case Exchange Server allows to store such a matrix)

I am trying to learn some basic network troubleshooting and I came across something called DNS.
It was the first time I heard about it so I was wondering what a DNS is?
I've searched it online but can't seem to understand the description.
Can someone explain it in layman's term please?
