Hello to all our Experts here! My brother gave me a Transcend 500GB External Hard Disk. It has 2 USB plug at the end of it. But I am only using one USB cord for data transferring. It’s been working perfectly fine for the whole time that I am using it. But when I tried to install it to my Dell Inspiron 1520 with Windows XP, it entirely made the computer system to stopped working correctly. I even press the power button to force close my computer. I tried to revert my BIOS settings to the previous month to no avail. What should I do now? Please help.

I have a Netgear fvx358 working together with my Cisco 3750 switch. The Cisco 3750 will represent as the distributing switch in an organization and the Netgear will be the access switch. I just want to know if there will be no problem with the configuration of the VLAN and configure others if necessary? And also, I want to know which is more improved, the Cisco 3945 router or the Netgear fvx358? Please send me some suggestions. Thanks.

I bought a DS fix WD Caviar Blue with a 500 gig, and I wanted to add Caviar Black 1TB (already acquire).at present, I know few people on the forum supported the primary drive having just a 500 gig, but because a Black is faster (and supposedly less susceptible to tear and wear) than a Blue, I think I should use the Black instead as the boot drive, even though it's a 1TB. Is there any reason for me not to do that?

I would like to ask some internet related questions like why does a speed test for instance download is 3mbps which equivalent to 375kbps when it uploads at 30kbps? What are cables, dsl and adsl means? Can my router affect my internet connection and make it slower?
