I have asked few people and came to know that it is a problem related to DHCP. This is a relatively new term for me. Is this relates to any issue with the system. I am using a dial up connection. I have heard people saying that they have a network speed of 54 megabyte per second and on observing more carefully I saw the speed marked as 54 Mb/s and when I test the speed on my home it says four MB/s what is the actual difference in among mega byte per second and mega bits per second? Are they the same? one MB/s is fast or one Mb/s is fast? Please answer my question I want  to know it.

I installed Hotwire in my home and removed the existing Comcast system. In my network, there is a remote hard drive that I store movies that I have downloaded so that I can watch them later. This network was working perfectly with Comcast but it does not work with Hotwire. Does anyone know a configuration that will work?
