I have a large number of files that I need to reduce to a manageable size. The thing is that I am not very familiar with compressing files even though I have heard people talk about this technique countless times. Please help me to understand the process required to compress files into a smaller size.

I must admit that I am no expert at dealing with zip folders. I would like someone to take me through the steps of downloading applications contained in zip folders. Please also elaborate on which software you would recommend for unzipping a zipped folder. How do you build the files after you have unzipped the folder?

 

Went I go onto the internet to download files or applications, I sometimes come across zip folders which contain the application I am after. Usually, I do not know how to build the files so I tend to ignore zip folders in general and go for self-extracting files. I need someone to help me understand what handle zip folders are and why files are store in them?

I have downloaded many HD Video Songs and Movies from Internet. When I Play them in VLC Media Player, whole Screen is not covered by the Video file. Lower and upper portion of screen is a Black Portion, occupied by the File. Hi, I am from US. I have purchased IDM for one year by Paying through Credit Card. But just after one month of usage it shows 'Registered with Fake Serial Number IDM is Exiting'. I have 1 year subscription but what the hell is happening with me. How can it say that Fake Serial Number in just 1 month. I have also contacted them but they say they can't help it. Please Help.
