Posting here is my experience on an error I encountered with file maker pro, after my computer booted up from a power failure, a strange thing happens with file maker pro, it will no longer run, when I started file maker pro an error message will appear on my screen that tells me a general activation error has occurred.

A general activation error has occurred (50040).

While reading the above error message, I was confused since this is my first time to encounter this message, I don't remember before that file maker pro needs to be activated after it is already been used for a long time,

I am have a scenario here about Filemaker Pro when ever I entered and date format, an error message will appear and ask me to change the date format.

I pasted below the screen shot of the error.

The value of this field must be a valid

date in the range of years 1 to 4000 and

should look like “12/25/2003”.

I am sharing here an amazing error message, I experience this while I was using our inventory application, all of a sudden an error message appeared, its message was Windows cannot find the file. Would you like some wine instead?

I pasted above the screen shot of the error, the error sounds strange, I don't believe it is generated from our inventory application, so tried to scan my computer for some virus that might hijack my computer, but none was found, but I still suspected this is a work of a virus,
