I have a intel gbf 865  motherboard which have built in graphic card. Previously I used different graphic card in this motherboard, that is damage anyway. So now I would like to use the built in. But my monitor display nothing. How I going to enable this from my motherboard?

My MSI MS-7005 motherboard (651M-L/650GM-L Series) got a problem.

BIOS ROM was seemed to be removed by CIH error. And I can not boot my system. Therefore,I prepared a MS DOS bootable floppy disk and made autoexec.bat which will re-write automatically the BIOS ROM into the motherboard and tried to boot it but the following error appeared on the screen.

I am using Intel 945 GCNL motherboard. I have open all the wire which is connected to my motherboard for cleaning it. When I tried to reconnect them I forgot the placement of power switch cable. I am afraid to connect them. How can I understand which pin is for Start or Reset?

After restarting my computer BIOS updated successfully but my mouse didn't work. Then I tried a lot to enable my mouse. I also tried another update related to the mouse. But my problem didn't solve. My primary Windows system partition has just been recovered after a Trojan gutted it.  I have been unsuccessful in restoring a system restore point, because system protection has been disabled and all other system administration functions are also not working.  A friend advised me to clear my CMOS and reinstall the operating system.

As I understand it, clearing the CMOS involves moving a tiny pin on the motherboard.  I have clumsy hands and would rather not do this if it isn't necessary.

What does the CMOS do exactly, and should I clear it before reinstalling Windows?
