Please allow me to share my experience here in techyv. When I am about to finish my report using Microsoft Excel it stopped and I met a strange error. Please see below the error message.

Catastrophic failure

As I read on the error, it makes me think twice about such a short error message "Catastrophic failure ". That is why I have a hard time figuring out what went wrong. When I looked for same error message over the internet, none was posted.

I am asking for some help on this error message. Hoping to hear your ideas. Thanks.

I have a problem here to consult. Every time I input a long formula in Microsoft Excel, I meet an error message that the formula is to long.

Formula is too long.

As I read on the error message, I am having a problem on how to finish my report since I really need to use the long formula that will make my work easier. If I will not use the long formula my work will take many hours by doing some manual computations.

Please share some ideas on how to let Microsoft Excel accept long formula.

I am using Microsoft Excel for my daily routine in recording my inventories, suddenly I met an error. When I tried to open my file, the file could no longer be opened and an error message appeared on my screen. I pasted below the error message screen shot.

I am at office working on my report using Microsoft Excel when I met an error. When I shifted nonblank cells off of the worksheet, an error message appeared on my screen. I pasted below the screen shot of the error.

To prevent possible loss of data, Excel cannot shift nonblank cells off of the worksheet. Select location in which to insert new cells, or delete data from the end of your worksheet.

Hi guys, I am posting here an issue on Microsoft Excel.

I always encounter an error every time I quit Excel.

See below the error message.

Cannot quit Microsoft Excel

As I look on the error message above, its very simple but annoying since it pops up every time I exit Excel. My first approach to this error was to remove Excel and install again.

However, it did not give any help. I also scanned my computer for some virus, no virus was found. The only thing I did not do is reformat my computer.

Please share some ideas on this issue.

I am trying to make a spreadsheet that will automatically add the numbers in the first two columns in every row and write the answer in the third column, but I'd like it to carry over for every row after that, but without me having to set it to add them.

Does anybody know how to do this?

 I created a worksheet which is used to upload information into a database that has various validations and database insert macros running in the background.

But when I attempt to Cut and Paste rows into my worksheet, I get an alert message box with the title "Microsoft Visual Basic" and then the message 'File not found'.

When I hit the “OK” button in the window another alert message box is opened saying "Microsoft Excel cannot paste the data". However when I close this message box the data is pasted into the worksheet. 

Could it be that there is something wrong with my VBA code?

 Microsoft Excel 2007 is installed on a 32-bit WXP. An error occurs when an MS Excel file is opened of which the XLS engine under UNIX is used to create the file in Interface of SAS/ACCESS to PC Files. When I try to choose ‘Yes’, the same error message continue to appear. Could I open again these excel files? Some researches are done about this but nothing can help. So please help and thanks for advance.

Only the second line of multiple line texts inserted in cell is seen

I have inserted multiple lines of texts in a Microsoft Excel cell which height was fixed to 25 pixels with a cell format enabled “Wrap Text”. I can’t see the first line of the text instead the second line was seen. I want to see the first line of the texts but I don’t know how to do it. I am using Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Please help.
