MS Excel
I completed the installation of ASAP Utilities on my PC with Excel 2007/2010. At present, when I open Excel, I receive the following error message:
“Repairs to 'ASAP Utilities.xla'
Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the unreadable content.
This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features". What does this mean and how can I proceed in opening the program? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I cannot open an important EXCEL file. This file contains very important info and I really need to make some references from it. I unfortunately only have it saved on my USB drive. I will be very grateful if you can help me solve this problem. I currently use windows XP and office 2000

I have a PC with specs XP Sp3, 2 GB of RAM & 320 GB Hard Drive and I have installed Microsoft Excel 2000 edition. When I was done with the entries and saved the Excel Worksheet, it generated an error message and terminated the application. I have also tried different methods of saving the sheet such as short cut strings, the disk icon on the standard toolbar etc.
Furthermore, it generated temporary files on the desktop with strange sorts of file names, for instance, F191000, 0F42F000, CC932000, etc., though these are empty files.

Hi,

I have a fully workable Office 2000 Premium windows 7 professional 64 bit system.
I found that add on programs, using office excel, require versions of 2007 or later.
How and where can I download/purchase/ upgrade to the latest Office Premium product?

This problem has driven me crazy over the eon. I have 2 monitors and I like to keep 2 different excel windows open. The problem is that I can’t find an easy way for double click and opening excels files in 2 separate windows. Each time I give double click on an excel file and it opens on the current excel window. I installed excel 2010 with a hope that the behavior would change but no, it didn’t. It’s the same as excel 2003 and excel 2007. All excel files open in the same Excel Window, which drive me crazy. Only solution I can find is opening up 2 windows then doing the old fashioned File Open. Can anyone please, help me to do it?

I’ve installed Microsoft Office 2010 on my pc. Whenever I give double click on an Excel file with a view to opening it, it shows the following error message:
‘There was a problem sending the command to the program’.
I don’t know why this problem is generated on my pc. Any help to solve this problem will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello Everyone,
The error message “Maximum number of fonts exceeded” appears whenever I am trying to open the generated Excel file in Excel 2007. I have generated reports from jasper report and then export it to excel format. Can somebody guide me to the reasons for that error message and how to fix it?

Hello,
I am doing something in MS Excel that requires writing long content in cells of one column. That’s why I use “Wrap Text” utility for cells of that column. But the fact is the content of the cells are not equal in height. It takes minimum 2 (two) and maximum 5 (five) lines.
If I adjust row height for the maximum, I can view all the contents but there stay lots of empty spaces for the minimums. I can adjust this height by adjusting one by one row which is time consuming. Is there any way that I can follow which will adjust the row height automatically depending on content of cells in MS Excel 2007?
